Description

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to the treatment of burns and purulent wounds.

The well-known Linetol ointment, intended for the treatment of burns, is not effective enough and is contraindicated in purulent wounds. Vinylin ointment, used to treat wounds and burns, is not effective enough.

The purpose of the invention is improving the healing of burns and purulent wounds.

The essence of the invention lies in the use of the well-known technical lubricant TsIATIM-221 as an ointment for the treatment of burns and purulent wounds. According to GOST 9433-60 TsIATIM-221, a high-temperature waterproof grease, a soft ointment of white or light gray color, a thickening product of organosilicon liquid 132-24 (PES-S-1) (84%) with complex calcium soap (16%) of stearic and acetic acids . The temperature range from 60 C to 150 C. Suitable for lubricating friction units of the mating surfaces and metal to metal and metal-rubber operating in corrosive environments.

П р и м е р 1. PRI me R 1. Patient K. was admitted to the hospital 05.24.93 with a burn of the left lower leg with boiling water, II degree burn of about 4% of the skin. The wound was healed. Immediately after washing with furatsillin, ointment TsIATIM-221 was applied to the wound. Swelling and discharge from the wound disappeared after a day. Ointment was applied repeatedly to the wound every day. Complete epithelialization of the wound occurred after 10 days.

П р и м е р 2. PRI me R 2. Patient K. was admitted to the hospital 07.06.93 with burns of boiling water I and II degree (burns I degree up to 10% of the skin, burns II degree about 4%). After applying TsIATIM-221 lubricant to wounds without dressings, on the 2nd day the swelling around the burn wounds disappeared, on the 3rd day, on the sites of burns of the 1st degree, the skin acquired normal color and elasticity, on the sites of burns of the 2nd degree, the skin almost completely epithelized on 7th day, on the 12th day there was practically no difference between damaged and healthy skin. 06/20/93 discharged to work.

П р и м е р 3. PRI me R 3. Patient M. went to the hospital about an infected chopped wound of the right foot. The wound 10 x 3 x 1.5 cm was covered with a mucous membrane. After washing the wound with 3% hydrogen peroxide, ointment TsIATIM-221 was applied to the wound. The next day, the wound cleansed, swelling of the edges of the wound decreased, on the 7th day the wound healed by secondary intention. The ointment was applied to the wound every other day. When using TsIATIM-221 lubricant as an ointment in the treatment of patients with toxic effects of the drug local or general action was not observed.

According to the statement of all patients, they are pleased with the use of TsIATIM-221 ointment. Not a single deterioration in health status or adverse side effects from the use of TsIATIM-221 lubricant as an ointment was observed in patients.

Thus, the use of TsIATIM-221 lubricant as an ointment for the treatment of burns and purulent wounds accelerates the healing of burns, including purulent burn wounds, and in many cases eliminates the need for skin grafts. It can be used at home, in the burn and surgical departments of hospitals. The use of TsIATIM-221 lubricant as an ointment will also save money on the development and improvement of ointments for the treatment of burns and purulent wounds, and reduce the consumption of dressing material.
