Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to the prevention of alimentary encephalomalacia.
Compound feeds for broiler chickens are high in corn, feed fat, fish meal. Each of the components has a significant amount of easily oxidized lipids, which are exposed to sunlight, moisture and other environmental factors during processing, transportation and storage of feed.
Peroxide radicals formed as a result of lipid oxidation destroy the lipid structures of vitamins, reduce the activity of enzymes and amino acids that regulate the antioxidant status in lipid metabolism. As a result of such violations, young birds become ill with alimentary encephalomalacia.
It is known that feed encephalomalacia can be prevented by the following means: introducing selenium in the form of sodium selenite into the feed composition; the use in feed of additional supplements of vitamin E and Santokhin in order to increase the safety of vitamins; of the known means of preventing broiler diseases, nutritional encephalomalacia and increasing the safety of vitamins close to the proposed one is the inclusion of Santokhin in the compound feed.
The premix included Santokhin in an amount of 0.5-2.5 wt. The preservation of vitamin E in the premix after an 80-day shelf life was 47.3-63.9% and vitamin A 46.8-59%
The existing method has a number of disadvantages: Santokhin does not protect the vitamin from destruction in premixes effectively, and therefore does not completely prevent feed encephalomalacia; Santokhin is an oily liquid and its uniform distribution in premixes and compound feeds consisting of dry bulk components is difficult; for the introduction of Santokhin in premixes and compound feeds and its uniform distribution, it is necessary to first dilute the drug in fats.
The aim of the invention is the prevention of alimentary encephalomalacia and the simplification of the technology of introducing antioxidant into animal feed.
To achieve this goal, phenosan acid-C 17 H 26 O 2 is used as an active substance in the form of a powder in the following ratio of components, wt. Phenosan acid 0.006-0.024 Compound feed
PRI me R. For the prevention of alimentary encephalomalacia, phenosan acid was used in comparison with liquid Santoquin used in practice. It was made according to recipes PK-5 and PK-6 with a nutritional value corresponding to GOST 18221-72 6 feed options: the first with liquid Santokhin in an amount of 0.012% by weight, the second without the addition of antioxidants, the third, fourth, fifth and sixth with phenosan acid in doses of 0.006; 0.012; 0.018 and 0.024%, respectively.
For the best manifestation of alimentary encephalomalacia, 3 and 6% of fish oil was included in the mixed fodder, respectively, for the age periods of 1-4 weeks and 5-7 weeks.
The results on the effectiveness of phenosan acid for the prevention of encephalomalacia are presented in the table.
The table shows that when using phenosan acid in a dose of 0.012-0.024 wt. alimentary encephalomalacia was completely removed, and in the first control group with Santokhin, broiler waste due to this disease was 2%
The use of phenosan acid in feed for chickens eliminates encephalomalacia and reduces mortality.
The advantages of the proposed method for the prevention of encephalomalysis in comparison with the well-known are the following: the safety of broilers is increased by 2%; the technology of introducing an antioxidant into feed is simplified.
