Description
The invention relates to oil and gas production and may find application in drilling wells in permeable formations.
Known grouting composition [1] containing, by weight. shale alkylresorcinol 15-20, formative agent 5-10, sodium chloride 60-70, magnesium chloride 0.1-0.5, calcium sulfate 2-5, the rest is water.
The disadvantage of this composition is the low degree of isolation due to the formation of the porous structure of the stone.
Also known composition [2] for the isolation of absorbing layers, containing, by weight. calcium chloride 52.4-61.5, sodium, copper, iron, aluminum or zinc sulfate 0.2-4.4, the rest is water.
The disadvantage of this composition is the low degree of formation isolation, due to the fact that the formed insulating crust is easily and quickly washed out by water.
The closest technical solution to the declared goals and the achieved result is a grouting composition [2] for isolation of formations, containing, by weight. calcium chloride 52.4-61.5, CMC or PAA 0.1-2.8, the rest is water.
The disadvantage of this composition is the insufficient degree of isolation of the reservoir associated with erosion of the crust.
The purpose of the invention is improving the efficiency and quality of insulation.
The composition for isolation of formations containing polymer, calcium chloride and water, as the polymer contains polyethylene oxide in the following ratio, wt. polyethylene oxide 0.5-1.5, calcium chloride 25.9-42.9, the rest is water.
в водном растворе ПЭО количество растворенного хлорида кальция превышает количество этой соли, которое может раствориться в воде в отсутствие ПЭО при аналогичных условиях (температура, давле- ние);
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that to reduce the permeability of the formation, a solution of polyethylene oxide (PEO) and calcium chloride in water is used. A solution of calcium chloride in an aqueous solution of PEO differs from a conventional aqueous solution of calcium chloride in the following properties:
in an aqueous PEO solution, the amount of dissolved calcium chloride exceeds the amount of this salt, which can dissolve in water in the absence of PEO under similar conditions (temperature, pressure);
at various concentrations of PEO, the amount of salt (calcium chloride), which is saturating, is different and at a certain pressure can precipitate together with PEO.
Thus, having selected a certain concentration of PEO, one can actually obtain a supersaturated solution of calcium chloride in it and, at certain pressures, precipitate PEO + CaCl 2 in order to clog the surface of the well wall, where this solution is pumped during its processing.
The properties of aqueous solutions of PEO and calcium chloride are investigated and observed for the first time.
Unlike the composition of the prototype, the proposed composition forms a precipitate of a non-crystalline amorphous structure, which is the reason for its slight erosion by drilling fluids and determines the strength of the isolation of the formation.
CaCl2.In laboratory conditions, solutions were prepared containing PEO and calcium chloride in water in various concentrations. Then, these solutions were tested under the test conditions of the UIPK-1M core according to the usual method. The degree of core isolation (blocking it) was estimated and that constant pressure P was noted, after which filtration through the core begins, and the time of establishment of this pressure τ. The values of P and τ are characteristic values for each specific solution of PEO + + CaCl 2 + water, which has certain concentrations of components and is in contact with a core of a certain permeability. And it is precisely the P value that will show the pressure drop that must be created in the well in order for the well to clog due to the deposition of PEO and CaCl 2 on them.
450-77. The reagents used in the work corresponded to state standards: TU 6-05-231-311-83 polyethylene oxide; fused calcium chloride GOST 450-77.
П р и м е р 1.

PRI me R 3. Prepared 1 liter of a solution containing 15 g (1.5%) of PEO and 429 g (42.9%) of calcium chloride. At the UIPK-1M installation, 2548.00 mD permeability was brought into contact with the core. After 12 s, a pressure drop of 1.8 MPa was established. At the end of the filtration, the core permeability was 66.25 mD. Thus, the degree of blockage of the core is 97.4%
Other examples are shown in the table. From their consideration it follows that: the proposed method of reducing the permeability of the reservoir is more effective than the method of the prototype; the concentration of the components should fall within the specified range, namely: PEO 0.5-1.5% calcium chloride 25.9-42.9%. When the concentration decreases below the specified minimum, there is a need to sharply increase the pressure to obtain the effect of clogging. With an increase in component concentrations above the maximum, there is a risk of precipitation of PEO + CaCl 2 before the solution enters the well.
Using the proposed composition will improve the efficiency and quality of insulation.
