The invention relates to protective devices used in underwater construction works, more specifically to screens for protecting the aquatic environment, and can be used, for example, in the construction of underwater pipelines across rivers, reservoirs.
Figure 1, 2 shows a screen to protect the aquatic environment.
The screen for protecting the aquatic environment includes two floating means-pontoons 1 with guides 2. Between the pontoons 1 on the guides 2 are installed, for example, three transverse grids 3 with cells of polymer material reinforced with steel cables. The upper part of the nets 3 is equipped with floats 4, and the lower part with ballast weights 5, secured by means of 6 fastening. Anchors are installed in the lower corners of the grids 3. The grids 3 are mounted on the guides 2 with the possibility of sliding, changing the distance between them and fixing their position. The grids 3 are separated from each other by vertical partitions 8. The optimal distance between the grids 3, taking into account the flow velocity and soil characteristics, is 1-1.5 m, as shown by experiments. Along the guides 2 installed side curtains 9, made, for example, in the form of grids with cells made of polymer material. Transverse grids 3 and side curtains 9 are equipped with control units for their vertical position, made, for example, in the form of manual or electric winches 10. Cells of grids 3 have different geometric sizes. So, for example, the first (with the flow of water) grid 3 has cells measuring 15 x 15 mm, the second 10 x 10 m, and the third 5 x 6 mm. Depending on the conditions, the number of grids 3 in the screen design can be from two to four.
The proposed screen is used as follows.
The screen is towed to the soil development site and installed at a distance of 150-200 m from the source of pollution (for example, a dredger developing the soil) across the turbidity torch and fixed with anchors 7. To indicate the location of the anchors 7 buoys are installed above them 11. Water flow with soil particles of different sizes passes, being cleaned, through the transverse mesh 3 of the screen and side curtains 9. The design of the screen allows you to cover the entire torch of turbidity, including its perimeter. Depending on the type of soil, flow velocity and other conditions, the protective ability of the screen can be easily changed by adjusting the distance between the grids 3, as well as by setting the required number of transverse grids 3 and the correct selection of the sizes of their cells. If necessary, for example, when changing the depth of the river, the reservoir, the transverse grids 3 and side rods 9 with the help of winches 10 can be easily raised or lowered without unnecessary labor, which eliminates the need to replace the entire screen with another.
The invention allows to effectively protect the surrounding aquatic environment and hydrofauna, reduce the loss of food supply and young fish during underwater excavation, significantly reduce the amount of soil carried away by the water flow and use it to fill the trench, regulate the protective function of the screen, reduce labor costs and construction time.
