A method for converting into useful power the current and voltage generated at the shield terminals of single-phase cables with different schemes of their grounding at the ends of single-phase power cables, in which means are used in the form of three surge arresters (OPN) designed to enter wires of ungrounded single-phase shields into each of them power cables that form for each screen an electrical circuit for the flow of current and a potential difference between the screen output and grounded points installed for each of the surge arresters, as well as a means for switching transposition wires, characterized in that the means for switching transposition wires is made to ensure the implementation of the connection of the three indicated shield wires at the end of one of the single-phase power cables, where this end of the cable shield outlet is located inside the newly installed single-line wiring cabinet, is connected to the current limiting coil, also located inside the cabinet, on the cabinet itself is grounded, and inside the cabinet, the coil is connected to a voltage stabilizer through a circuit breaker, and the energy from the output of the voltage stabilizer through another circuit breaker is connected to the load and then sent to the consumer.
