Способ исследования акустических характеристик объектов в заглушенной камере, заключающийся в том, что в заглушенной камере, в которой поглощается падающий на стены звук от испытуемого объекта, устанавливают испытываемый объект на плавающий пол, при этом заглушенную камеру размещают в отдельном здании с фундаментом, стенами, потолочным перекрытием, внутри которого, на автономном фундаменте, размещают ее стены, плавающий пол, на котором устанавливают испытуемый объект и легкое потолочное перекрытие, отличающийся тем, что заглушенную камеру герметично облицовывают со всех сторон вновь разработанным и подлежащим испытанию звукопоглощающим элементом, при этом уровень звуковой мощности Lp испытуемого объекта определяют по результатам измерений среднего уровня звукового давления Lcp на его измерительной поверхности, за которую принимают площадь полусферы S, м2, т.е.
