A method for surgical treatment of patients with occlusion of the internal carotid artery, characterized in that after isolation and revision of the OCA, ICA and NSA along the medial edge of the sternum-subclavian mastoid muscle, the presence of ICA, stenosis of the OCA, NSA and establish reconstruction; after clamping the common carotid artery (CCA) and the ICA, the occluded ICA is ligated to a distance of 20-25 mm from its mouth and cut off, the proximal end of the occluded ICA is dissected along the front surface in the proximal direction and continued to the CCA for a fork at a distance of 10-15 mm ( until significant stenosis of the atherosclerotic plaque ends), the anterior wall of the HCA is dissected to the distal direction free of stenosis of the site with the formation of a Y-shaped section of the ICA-OCA - HCA, endarterectomy is performed from the formed flap of the ICA, OCA, N A and its branches; the ICA wall is cut so that the ICA flap width is 8-10 mm, then a vascular suture is formed with a 7-0 thread between the medial wall of the ICA and the lateral wall of the ICA in the distal direction, until the end of the ICA section, the ICA wall is modeled by excising the excess of its lateral edge , continue the vascular suture towards the bulb of the OCA and proximal to the end of the arteriotomy incision.
