Claims (31)
1. Интерферометрический датчик, содержащий: чувствительный элемент (22), при помощи которого измеряемая величина индуцирует относительный фазовый сдвиг между двумя волнами, проходящими через чувствительный элемент, причем чувствительный элемент является датчиком напряжения, и измеряемая величина является электрическим напряжением или напряженностью электрического поля, а относительный фазовый сдвиг внутри чувствительного элемента (22) является восприимчивым к напряжению, прикладываемому между двумя его поверхностями; по меньшей мере один детектор (41, 26), измеряющий сигнал интерференции между двумя волнами; и дополнительно содержащий: блок (31-1) обнаружения фазового сдвига, имеющий в качестве входного сигнала сигнал интерференции и определяющий первую меру, представляющую собой главное значение (ϕ, 13) относительного фазового сдвига; и блок (31-2) обнаружения контраста, имеющий в качестве входного сигнала сигнал интерференции, для определения второй меры (А, 12), представляющей собой взаимную корреляцию между двумя волнами; а также блок (31) обработки для преобразования первой и второй мер в значение измеряемой величины, при этом вторая мера представляет собой параметр, относящийся к интерференционному контрасту или видности интерференционных полос, волны при интерференции имеют достаточно широкий спектр для получения быстро изменяющейся и монотонной функции взаимной корреляции в диапазоне такой же ширины, как ширина целевого диапазона измерений, и при использовании обнаруженной второй меры, представляющей собой взаимную корреляцию, датчик удаляет периодическую неоднозначность из измеряемого относительного фазового сдвига.
2. Датчик по п. 1, в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов согласует вторую меру с заданной функцией или картой значений параметров, представляющей собой функцию (А) взаимной корреляции между двумя волнами, по диапазону измерений датчика.
3. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов использует вторую меру для определения цикловой переменной n.
4. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, дополнительно включающий в себя один или более источников (20), генерирующих две волны, взаимная корреляция (А) которых изменяется сильно и монотонно в зависимости от относительной групповой задержки (τ) между двумя волнами в пределах диапазона измерений датчика.
5. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, в котором
|A(φ)-A(φ±2π)|/A(φ)≥0,001,
где А является упомянутой второй мерой, и φ является упомянутым фазовым сдвигом.
6. Датчик по любому из пп. 4-5, в котором две волны генерируются одним и тем же источником (20), в результате чего функция (А) взаимной корреляции является автокорреляционной функцией волны, генерируемой источником (20).
7. Датчик по любому из пп. 4-6, в котором источник (источники) 20 имеет спектр, охватывающий непрерывную полосу частот, или спектр, состоящий из многочисленных разъединенных полос частот или разъединенных спектральных линий.
8. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, дополнительно включающий в себя элемент (40) смещения групповой задержки для сдвига диапазона измерений датчика в область (14) монотонной вариации функции (А) взаимной корреляции в зависимости от относительной групповой задержки (τ) между двумя волнами.
9. Датчик по п. 8, в котором элемент (40) смещения групповой задержки представляет собой двулучепреломляющий материал, двулучепреломляющий волновод, сохраняющее поляризацию оптическое волокно или их сочетание.
10. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, в котором диапазон измерений датчика включает в себя область, где градиент (|dA/dτ|) функции (А) взаимной корреляции в отношении групповой задержки (τ) имеет максимальное значение.
11. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, дополнительно содержащий по меньшей мере два интерференционных канала с по меньшей мере двумя детекторами (26-2, 26-3) и по меньшей мере один статический оптический элемент (24) смещения фазы в по меньшей мере одном из интерференционных каналов, и в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов объединяет сигналы интерференции по меньшей мере двух интерференционных каналов для образования первой меры (аргумента Y) и второй меры (абсолютной величины Y).
12. Датчик по п. 11, в котором разность фазовых смещений между интерференционными каналами находится в пределах (90°±40°)+180°×i, где i - целое число, включая нуль.
13. Датчик по п. 11 или 12, дополнительно содержащий дополнительный сигнальный канал с детектором (26-1), измеряющим величину, представляющую собой полную мощность волн до интерференции, или, в качестве альтернативы, по меньшей мере один дополнительный канал в противофазе с любым из интерференционных каналов, и в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов объединяет сигналы интерференционных каналов и сигнал (сигналы) дополнительного канала (каналов) для вычисления первой и второй мер независимо от полной мощности или вариации потерь.
14. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, дополнительно содержащий оптический элемент (30) фазовой модуляции, добавляющий фазовую модуляцию к относительному фазовому сдвигу между двумя волнами, и по меньшей мере один детекторный канал (26) для измерения сигнала интерференции, и в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов анализирует модулированный сигнал интерференции для образования первой меры (аргумента Y) и второй меры (абсолютной величины Y).
15. Датчик по п. 14, в котором блок (31) обработки сигналов работает в режиме управления по замкнутой петле с сигналом обратной связи, представляющим собой главное значение относительного фазового сдвига.
16. Датчик по любому из предшествующих пунктов, в котором две волны представляют собой световые волны, в частности ортогональные линейно поляризованные световые волны или световые волны с левой и правой круговой поляризацией.
17. Датчик по п. 16, в котором чувствительный элемент (22) содержит объемный электрооптический кристалл или электрооптическое волокно, в частности кристаллическое электрооптическое волокно или поляризованное электрооптическое волокно, или оптическое волокно и пьезоэлектрический материал.
18. Датчик по п. 17, содержащий по меньшей мере один источник (20) света, по меньшей мере один линейный поляризатор (21), оптический фазовый модулятор (30), фарадеевский вращатель (83, 83') с углом поворота в пределах (45°±25°)+90°×k, где k является целым числом, электрооптический чувствительный элемент (22) и отражательную оптику (70).
19. Датчик по п. 16, в котором чувствительный элемент (22) содержит магнитооптический материал или оптическое волокно.
20. Способ выполнения интерференционных измерений, содержащий этапы, на которых:
- генерируют по меньшей мере две волны;
- определяют функцию или карту значений параметров, представляющую собой функцию взаимной корреляции между упомянутыми двумя волнами;
- подвергают чувствительный элемент (22) воздействию измеряемой величины, которая является электрическим напряжением или напряженностью электрического поля, при этом относительный фазовый сдвиг внутри чувствительного элемента (22) является восприимчивым к напряжению, прикладываемому между двумя его поверхностями, и которая индуцирует относительный фазовый сдвиг между двумя волнами, проходящими через чувствительный элемент, причем чувствительный элемент является датчиком напряжения;
- предоставляют двум волнам возможность интерферировать, при этом волны при интерференции имеют достаточно широкий спектр для получения быстро изменяющейся и монотонной функции взаимной корреляции в диапазоне такой же ширины, как ширина целевого диапазона измерений;
- для значения измеряемой величины (x) одновременно определяют первую меру, представляющую собой главное значение
(ϕ, 13) относительного фазового сдвига, и вторую меру (А, 12), представляющую собой взаимную корреляцию между двумя волнами; и
- объединяют первую и вторую меры с заданной функцией или картой значений параметров, представляющей собой функцию взаимной корреляции, и определяют соответствующее значение измеряемой величины, при этом вторая мера, представляющая собой функцию (А) взаимной корреляции между двумя волнами, является параметром, относящимся к интерференционному контрасту или видности интерференционных полос,
при этом при использовании обнаруженной второй меры, представляющей собой взаимную корреляцию, датчик удаляет периодическую неоднозначность из измеряемого относительного фазового сдвига.
21. Способ по п. 20, в котором функцию или карту значений параметров, представляющую собой функцию взаимной корреляции, используют для преобразования второй меры в цикловую переменную n.
