Abstract
Description
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to compositions of steels that are used for the manufacture of machine parts and mechanisms, elements of building structures.
Known steel containing silicon, carbon, chromium, manganese and other ingredients.
Known steel containing the following ingredients, wt. %: carbon 0.03-0.18; silicon 0.01-0.4; manganese 0.1-1.8; chrome 0.5-1.2; nickel 0.1-0.65; copper 0.15-0.5; phosphorus 0.06-0.15; aluminum 0.02-0.12; germanium 0.0005-0.003; iron is the rest.
The corrosion resistance of steel in its known composition cannot be increased.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the corrosion resistance of steel.
(CrSi2) 0,2-0,4.To achieve the goal, at least one of the silicides of metals of the IV, V, VI groups of the main subgroups of the periodic system of elements is additionally introduced into the steel composition in the following ratio of ingredients, wt.%: Carbon 0.1-0.2; silicon 0.01-0.4; manganese 0.1-1.8; chrome 0.5-1.2; nickel 0.1-0.5; copper 0.15-0.5; aluminum 0.02-0.12; germanium 0.0005-0.003; metal silicides 0.7-1.1; iron is the rest. As metal silicides, tungsten silicide (WSi 2 ) 0.3-0.4 was used; vanadium silicide (VSi 2 ) 0.2-0.4; chromium silicide (CrSi 2 ) 0.2-0.4.
Table 1 shows approximate compositions of steel.
In the table. 2 shows the expected indicators of corrosion resistance of steel, expressed by the loss of mass in an aggressive environment.
The proposed solution allows to extend the life of steel products.
