Способ получения сорбента на основе полистирола для извлечения бора из водных растворов, отличающийся тем, что в качестве исходного сырья используют линейный полистирол, который на первой стадии обрабатывают дымящей азотной кислотой, на второй стадии из полученного полинитростирола взаимодействием его с водно-спиртовым раствором хлорида олова(II) синтезируют полиаминостирол, который на третьей стадии подвергают взаимодействию с глицидолом при мольном соотношении полиаминостирол : глицидол = 1:(1-4) под воздействием ультразвука, экстрагируют полученный продукт горячими водорастворимыми спиртами или кетонами и сушат на воздухе.
