Способ термической обработки заготовок роторов из высокохромистой стали, включающий предварительную термообработку путем отжига при температуре аустенизации и перлитизации, охлаждения и изотермического отпуска с переохлаждением, окончательную термообработку путем нагрева до температуры закалки, охлаждения в масле и двух промежуточного и основного отпусков с охлаждением в печи, отличающийся тем, что на стадии охлаждения после отжига с температуры 850-900ºС проводят термоциклирование в ограниченном интервале температур минимальной устойчивости аустенита 670-730ºС и однократный высокий отпуск при температуре 600-700ºС, на стадии окончательной термообработки проводят нагрев до температуры аустенизации 1030-1070ºС, далее проводят термоциклирование в ограниченном интервале 670-730ºС и осуществляют нагрев под закалку при температуре 1050-1100ºС.
