Способ получения композиционного материала, включающий горячее прессование порошка сверхвысокомолекулярного полиэтилена, отличающийся тем, что в качестве исходного используют порошок сверхвысокомолекулярного полиэтилена, дополнительно содержащий 5÷20 мас.% порошка оксида алюминия, предварительно плакированного поливиниловым спиртом, прессование исходного порошка производят при постоянном удельном давлении 7,5 МПа сначала при температуре t1=80÷100°С в течение 30 мин, затем при температуре t2=110÷130°С в течение 60 мин.
