Abstract

A method for bacteriological diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection of the gastric mucosa in patients with gastroduodenal pathology, including determining the cultural and biochemical properties of the pathogen when planting biological material on nutrient media, a standard incubation mode, establishing the tinctorial and morphological properties of the studied strain, characterized in that tests are additionally used for catalase formation, oxidase formation, urease formation, decomposition of sodium hippurate and the absence of x-f actor and acid resistance.
