Способ работы тепловой электрической станции, по которому отработавший пар паровой турбины конденсируют в конденсаторе турбины охлажденной циркуляционной водой, нагретую в конденсаторе турбины циркуляционную воду охлаждают в охладителе циркуляционной воды, отличающийся тем, что часть нагретой циркуляционной воды направляют по подающему трубопроводу, включенному в трубопровод нагретой циркуляционной воды между конденсатором турбины и охладителем циркуляционной воды, в качестве греющего агента в систему теплоснабжения снегоплавильной установки, расположенной на территории тепловой электрической станции, а использованную в системе теплоснабжения снегоплавильной установки воду возвращают в трубопровод охлажденной циркуляционной воды по обратному трубопроводу, включенному между конденсатором турбины и охладителем циркуляционной воды.
