Способ изготовления пенополистирольной плиты, включающий смешение полистирола с нуклеатором - тальком, плавление смеси в экструдере, введение в расплав порообразователя и экструзию через плоскощелевую фильеру с последующим формованием плиты, отличающийся тем, что в качестве нуклеатора используют 10-12 мас.% смеси гранулированного талька (1,5-2,0 мас.%) с неорганическими добавками, остальное - полистирол, при этом в качестве неорганических добавок используют гранулированные диоксид кремния (2-3 мас.%), оксид титана (1-2 мас.%), гидроксид магния (1-4 мас.%), каолин (1-2 мас.%), кизельгур (до 1 мас.%).
