Способ оценки глубины верхнего квазиоднородного слоя высокоширотных морей в зимний период, включающий определение в исследуемом районе дистанционным методом концентраций общей взвеси и хлорофилла, вычисление хлорофильного индекса Ichl, по отношению концентрации хлорофилла к концентрации биомассы водорослей, равной концентрации общей взвеси за вычетом концентрации неорганических взвешенных частиц, определенной эмпирически, ! Ichl=chl ос 3/(tsm clark - 0.25), ! где chl ос 3 - концентрация хлорофилла, tsm clark - концентрация общей взвеси, и последующее вычисление глубины верхнего квазиоднородного слоя НВКС, равного !
