Способ работы теплоэлектроцентрали, включающий отбор пара из нерегулируемых отборов паровой турбины типа Т или ПТ на регенеративные подогреватели высокого давления и подогреватели низкого давления, в том числе деаэратор, в которых последовательно нагревают основной конденсат, с предварительным ступенчатым подогревом его во вспомогательных теплообменниках после конденсатора турбины и питательную воду, причем производят регулируемый отбор из турбины пара, совмещенный с подогревом сетевой воды в сетевом подогревателе, отличающийся тем, что отбор пара на теплофикацию полностью или частично замещают основным конденсатом, подогревающим сетевую воду в водоводяном теплообменнике, теплом, полученным в результате ступенчатого подогрева в регенеративных подогревателях основного конденсата, расположенных между конденсатором и регенеративным подогревателем низкого давления, включенным по ходу основного конденсата после подогревателя низкого давления, отбор пара из турбины на который совмещен с регулируемым отбором пара на подогреватель сетевой воды, либо после подогревателя низкого давления, отбор пара на который совмещен с регулируемым нижним отопительным отбором, в случае двухступенчатого подогрева сетевой воды.
