Способ определения суммарного содержания F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, S- и Р-органических соединений в воде или водных растворах, включающий их выделение из воды, высокотемпературную конверсию в атмосфере кислорода, поглощение продуктов конверсии водой, и анализ полученного раствора абсорбата методом ионной хроматографии, отличающийся тем, что выделение из воды или водных растворов проводят жидкостной экстракцией из анализируемой пробы воды, насыщенной неорганической солью, органическим растворителем, свободным от соединений, содержащих определяемые элементы, частично упаривают экстракт, и высокотемпературную конверсию проводят в реакторе, через который поступает поток кислорода и поток непосредственно упаренного экстракта или концентрированных аналитов из этого экстракта, полученных путем подачи потока экстракта в картридж с сорбентом в потоке инертного газа со скоростью подачи экстракта и газа, обеспечивающий испарение экстракта и сорбцию аналитов из парогазовой смеси и исключающей проскок жидкости через картридж, с удалением растворителя вне аналитической системы, и соединением картриджа с реактором для перевода абсорбата аналитов термодесорбцией в потоке газа-носителя в реактор, продукты конверсии поглощают деионизованной водой, свободной от определяемых элементов, сдувают полученный в процессе углекислый газ из абсорбата, пропускают весь объем абсорбата через защитную и концентрирующую колонки, удаляют большую часть воды из свободного объема колонок элюентом, и переводят весь концентрат с образовавшимися анионами в разделительную колонку ионного хроматографа для проведения ионно-хроматографического анализа всего концентрата анионов в изократических условиях.1.
