Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the metallurgy of non-ferrous metals and can be used in enterprises for the production of cobalt, copper, nickel, manganese and other metals and their compounds.
Known methods for sulfatization of metals from sulfide materials:
1. The method of sulfatization of sulfide iron ore materials that contain metals that form readily soluble sulfates. Provides for the first stage of oxidative firing of the starting material in a fluidized bed furnace. In the second step the calcined material sulphatization at 750-800 C in the reactor up to a conversion of non-ferrous metals into sulphates.
2. A method for processing pyritic concentrates cobalt by calcining them at a temperature of 600-700 C in an inert gas atmosphere, held for more complete removal of sulfur and the subsequent hydrometallurgical operations consisting calcine leaching with sulfuric acid and precipitation of nickel and cobalt sulfides solution.
3. A method for the extraction of non-ferrous metals from sulfide materials, in which the non-ferrous metals are extracted from sulfide raw materials, burning it in a furnace to a state in which it does not contain sulfur and sulfate cinder in a separate reaction chamber. When leaching a sulphatization coke with sulfuric acid, more than 50% of non-ferrous metals are recovered. Part of the leach solution is recirculated to the leaching stage, and part is returned to the kiln, where the sulfur present in it is converted to sulfur dioxide. Firing is carried out in a fluidized bed furnace and sulfuric acid, sulfur dioxide and air or sulfur trioxide are used as a sulfatizing agent.
4. A method of producing sulfur from pyrite cinder in a fluidized bed with circulation of cinder and sulfur dioxide in one apparatus with three fluidized beds. According to the proposed method, in the first fluidized bed, primary sublimation of sulfur and the interaction of part of FeS with sulfur dioxide occur. The resulting mixture of sulfur vapors with sulfur dioxide is fed to the sulfur purification and separation, and the remaining sulfur gas is fed to create a fluidized bed of cinder, coming from the first layer. In the second fluidized bed, a cinder consisting of FeS and Fe 3 O 4 interacts with iron oxide with the release of sulfur dioxide, which enters the first zone or is partially removed from the process. Obtained in the second layer, Fe 3 O 4 enters the third layer, where it is oxidized to Fe 2 O 3 with atmospheric oxygen.
The prototype of the claimed invention is a method of oxidative firing of pyrite-containing materials in which the pyrite-containing material is treated in a fluidized bed with an oxygen-containing gas with an oxygen flow rate of 0.08-0.2 nm 3 / kg of pyrite. The disadvantages of the analogues and the prototype is that if there is gold in the feedstock, it is slightly concentrated in the firing product (cinder, dust, gases), to the fraction of sulfur removed from the cinder.
The aim of the invention is to increase the degree of concentration of gold in the cinder of the fluidized bed.
This goal is achieved in that the firing is carried out at a gas flow rate greater than the second critical fluidization rate when the content of water vapor in the blast supplied under the hearth of the furnace is 0.01-0.04 m 3 / kg
The optimality of these products is confirmed by the fact that at blast speeds less than the second critical concentration of gold does not occur in a fluidized bed. When the content of water vapor in the blast is less than 0.1 m 3 / kg, gold does not concentrate in the cinder. An increase in the content of water vapor in the blast more than 0.04 m 3 / kg is impractical, since it does not lead to an increase in the concentration of gold.
The indicated is confirmed by the following examples.
Pyrite concentrate (pyrite) containing 1 g / t gold, calcined in a fluidized bed at a temperature of 600 ° C, fluidization velocity above 2 nd critical, the content of water vapor in the blast 0.025 m 3 / kg. The cinder discharged from the fluidized bed contains 25 g / t of gold.
Other examples are given in the table.
