Abstract
A method for determining the concentration of benzylpenicillin preparations in biological fluids by using the microbiological method of diffusion into agar, which includes preparing a test microbe preparation, creating an agar layer, cutting holes in the frozen agar, introducing standard solutions into them and pre-diluting the test samples, characterized in that as the test microbe is used Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 in the amount of 3 · 106 microbial bodies per ml of medium, on the glass create a uniform layer of agar 1-2 mm thick, in the frozen agar a notch holes 2 mm in diameter are introduced into which standard solutions are added in concentrations of 0.5; 1.5; 3; four; 5; 6 μg / ml and test samples.
