Способ замены футеровки на своде печи, включающий съем секций свода вместе с футеровкой с печи, установка ее на специальные опоры, съем разрушенной футеровки, установка новой футеровки на место снятой и установка секций на печь, отличающийся тем, что производят переворот секции вместе с футеровкой перед съемом и удалением разрушенной футеровки относительно опор, а после укладки новой футеровки производят повторный переворот в исходное положение.1. Устройство для замены футеровки на своде печи, содержащее две неподвижные опоры, закрепленные на основании и расположенные на одной линии на расстоянии меньше длины секции свода, отличающееся тем, что оно дополнительно снабжено еще одной опорой, расположенной соосно и на противоположной стороне по отношению к одной из опор таким образом, чтобы одна из опор оказалась в середине, высота опор выполнена различной по отношению к плоскости основания, а средняя опора устройства снабжена узлом закрепления и переворота свода на ней.3.
