A method for predicting the course of coronary heart disease according to the results of the acute period of myocardial infarction, characterized in that, using the 18 clinical criteria, a prognostic index is determined, when a PI <499 is obtained, a good outcome of the disease is predicted, i.e. the patient belongs to class I, if 499 <PI <663, then the patient belongs to class II, has an average prognosis, if PI> 663, then a poor outcome is predicted, i.e. the patient belongs to class III.
