Способ получения сорбентов для очистки воды от органических примесей, заключающийся в обработке пористого неорганического материала, преимущественно, вспученного вермикулита, органическим гидрофобизирующим агентом, отличающийся тем, что в качестве гидрофобизирующего агента используют раствор полиэтилентерефталата в хлоруксусной кислоте или раствор полипеноуретана в полярном органическом растворителе, при этом обработку ведут в нормальных условиях до содержания полимера в сорбенте в количестве 2-5% по углероду.1.
