Способ получения диборида магния путем смешения порошка бора и металлического магния в соотношении, превышающем стехиометрическое, и последующий отжиг, отличающийся тем, что смешивают аморфный бор и стружку металлического магния, а отжиг проводят в атмосфере инертного газа, пропущенного через титановую губку, нагретую до 1000-1050oС, в две стадии: при температуре 800-810oС в течение 1-1,5 ч и при температуре 875-885oС в течение 1-1,5 ч соответственно.1.
