Способ выделения N-метиланилина из катализата, полученного N-гидроалкилированием анилина метанолом при повышенной температуре в присутствии водорода и медьсодержащего катализатора, ректификацией, отличающийся тем, что ректификацию осуществляют на трех колоннах с подачей в первую колонну непосредственно после реактора катализата, содержащего метанол, воду, анилин в виде перегретого пара при температуре 180-250oС в присутствии промотора очистки метанола и воды от анилина и N-метиланилина - водорода при концентрации последнего в питании колонны 1-7 мас.% с выделением по верху колонны смеси метанола, воды, водорода, которую подвергают конденсации, охлаждению и сепарации от водорода и направляют в питание второй ректификационной колонны, по верху которой выделяют метанол, возвращаемый в синтез, а по низу - воду, направляемую на термическое обезвреживание, а кубовый продукт первой колонны, содержащий помимо целевого N-метиланилина примеси анилина и N,N-диметиланилина в массовом соотношении анилин : N,N-диметиланилин, равном (0,5-7):1, направляют в питание третьей колонны, работающей под вакуумом при температуре верха 95-120oС, разности давлений между тарелкой ввода питания и верхом колонны 20-80 мм рт. ст. с выделением целевого продукта боковым погоном из нижней части колонны.1.
