Description
Полезная модель относится к области энергетического анализа заряженных частиц при быстропротекающих процессах, конкретно, к одновременному измерению энергий вторичных электронов, возбужденных с поверхности твердых тел или биологических объектов, в широком диапазоне их энергий для определения химического состава различных материалов.The utility model relates to the field of energy analysis of charged particles in fast processes, specifically, to simultaneously measure the energies of secondary electrons excited from the surface of solids or biological objects, in a wide range of their energies to determine the chemical composition of various materials.
In the energy analysis of charged particles, electrostatic spectrometers are most often used, in which charged particles of different energies move along the same trajectory, and their energy spectrum is taken by changing the potential difference between the electrodes of the system. This process takes a lot of time, so there is a need for simultaneous (parallel) detection of beams of charged particles of different energies. The main problem is to create the distribution of the electrostatic field, which allows simultaneously focusing electron flows with energies that differ tenfold. For this purpose, electrostatic multichannel energy analyzers (spectrographs) are used, which provide an express analysis of the composition of materials for the technical control of products of various industries.

This analyzer energy of charged particles works as follows. From the
Example. An electrostatic energy analyzer of charged particles with a length of L = 10.5R was created, the dimensions of which are half the size of the prototype. In the analyzer, the front cone segment of the external electrode consists of 4 electrically isolated parts of length l n = 1.5R located at distances s n = 0.25R from each other. The front cone segment of the external electrode with a length of G = 6.75R expands along the motion of charged particles at an angle β = 10 degrees relative to the axis of the analyzer and is connected to the first power source capable of supplying increasing voltage to its part according to the law of odd numbers. The rear cylindrical segment of the external electrode of radius R a = 4R has a length of g = 3.75 R and is electrically connected to a flat rear protective electrode. To ensure the focusing of electron beams and as a result of increasing the resolution of the analyzer's energy, an additional cone electrode is placed, located at a distance of Δ = 0.07R from a protective grounded front electrode with an initial radius R d = l, 25R long l d = 0.2R, surface which is parallel to the surface of the anterior conical segment of the external electrode. In this case, the potential V 1 on the first part of the front cone segment of the external electrode, which provides focusing conditions, is equal to V 1 = 4.4 (E min / e), where E min is the minimum energy of charged particle beams, eV, e is the particle charge, Cl. The potentials on the subsequent parts of the front cone segment of the external electrode are respectively equal: V 2 = 3V 1 , V 3 = 5V 1 , V 4 = 7V 1 . Numerical calculations to determine the potential V t of the rear cylindrical segment of the external electrode electrically connected to the rear protective electrode, which helps to ensure sharp focusing of high-energy beams on the internal grounded cylindrical electrode, showed that the value of V t = 10V 1 . The detector is made in the form of 7 flat electrodes connected to a multichannel measuring device and installed behind the output annular slots of the internal grounded cylindrical electrode perpendicular to its axis. For the entire energy range, the positions of the focal points on the inner cylindrical electrode are found. With the above parameters, the electrostatic analyzer of the energy of charged particles provides a parallel (simultaneous) analysis of secondary electrons with an energy resolution of ρ = 5E / E constituting ρ = (5-9) × 10 -3 over the entire range of simultaneously recorded energies equal to E = (1 -50) E min , i.e. the energy resolution of the present analyzer in the entire range of simultaneously recorded energies is the same with the prototype analyzer, and the dimensions of this analyzer are two times smaller.
