The invention relates to industrial furniture, in particular to additional devices for pottery wheels, intended for the formation of products from clay and other ceramic masses.

In the process of using a pottery wheel, in addition to clay, a container with water, pottery tools, a hairdryer, table lamps and other accessories are required. Some of the above can be placed on the body of the potter's wheel itself, which often has small stationary or removable shelves.

Known table top for pottery wheel (US 2017239837 A1, 08/24/2017), which allows you to place most of the above listed accessories. The tabletop is a folding surface, made on vertical racks with a crossbar and fixing elements. Sometimes on these countertops there is a fixed placement of additional lighting of the workplace.

Also known as a prototype table top for a potter's wheel (US 2004142061 A1, 07.22.2004), containing a body equipped with an element with a recess to accommodate a potter's wheel and two recesses to accommodate accessories.

The presented solutions have the drawbacks typical for classic pottery wheels, namely the lack of a constant inflow of clean water, as well as the difficulty of removing used water from clay residues and, as a result, maintaining the cleanliness of the working space both during work and during harvesting after classes. Usually, it is required to drain water from the tank, remove and wash in a separate sink an in-depth element around the potter's wheel, used tools and the potter's wheel itself, which requires additional time and labor, and unnecessary actions.

The purpose of this utility model is to create a device for a potter's wheel, which will ensure a constant flow and drain of water to keep the working space clean, allow you to install and connect necessary accessories, including adjustable backlight, hairdryer, tablet or monitor, in a convenient potter position have on hand the necessary working tools that will increase productivity and efficiency, as well as provide ease of use and ergonomic workplace.

The technical result is to reduce the time and labor required to work with the potter’s wheel.

This result is achieved thanks to the table top for pottery wheel, which includes a case equipped with openings for water supply devices, openings for vertical holders and two recesses with openings for draining, with one recess made for installing a pottery wheel disc.

In particular, the housing may have two openings for water supply devices.

One of the holes for the water supply devices can be made for the mixer, and the other for the watering can on the flexible hose.

Running on the tabletop of the second recess, the presence of holes for draining, holes for installing water supply devices, holes for installing vertical holders designed to accommodate accessories, will significantly reduce the time spent and reduce the number of actions when working with a potter's wheel. The pottery wheel table top is a body 1 of artificial or natural stone, various solid materials, and has elements identical to those used in washbasins, for example, a recess 2.3 with 4.5 holes for draining, a hole 6 for water supply devices.

One recess 2 is made to install a potter's wheel, for example, up to 400 mm in diameter, due to the larger diameter of the recess and the hole 8 at the bottom of the recess for the pottery wheel shaft on which the disc is installed. The recess 2 may have a slope of the bottom surface to the drain hole 4. The second recess 3 may have a different shape, preferably has a slope of the bottom surface to the drain hole 5, and serves mainly to draw water needed in the process of pottery all around. The drain hole 5, as well as the drain hole 4, may be blocked by, for example, an installed pressure valve. Holes 4.5 are made in standard sizes, as in the sinks for the sink.

The case has holes 6 for water supply devices, mainly two for the mixer and a watering can on a flexible hose, which are more practical to be placed next to the second recess 3. At the same time, it is desirable to place the watering can hose inside the housing 1 with the possibility of pulling out its surface for washing the tabletop elements. Possible and a larger number of holes 6, the dimensions of which are similar to the holes in the said sinks.

Also on the case there are holes 7 for vertical holders, preferably two, for example, on opposite sides of the upper part of the case. The possible number of holes 7 for holders can be set by the size of the table top and the need for more of them. Vertical holders (figure 3) can be made in the form of hollow pipes made of metal or plastic, equipped with hooks, shelves and similar elements. Holders serve to accommodate additional equipment and allow you to keep everything you need at hand, such as pottery tools, a hairdryer, a lamp and other, which reduces the time and number of actions when searching for the necessary tools and their placement, as well as to customize the working space. The dimensions of the holes 7 can be a diameter of 30-60mm, have a different section, for example, square.

Along the perimeter of the housing 1, projections 9 up to 15 mm in height can be made to prevent overflow of water and waste beyond the limits of the table top.

The proposed tabletop is made with the possibility of stationary installation on the frame of classic pottery wheels, for example, Shimpo-Wisper-T, with vertical supports mounted in the holes 7 serving as additional supports.

The table top case can be made arcuate with a given radius from 3800 to 7000 mm, and holes can be made along the ends of the case to connect individual tabletops and create several universal pottery jobs located along an arc of the specified radius. This property is useful for pottery studios, conducting classes and master classes for beginners with a teacher. Such an arrangement of pottery wheels makes it easier for a teacher to help students and allows him to work with a large number of students at the same time.

The proposed solution works as follows.

The tabletop is placed on a potter's wheel frame with a drive, a mixer and a watering can with a stationary water supply are installed on it, drainage is mounted to the drain holes, which can be individual for each well or connected to a common drain, vertical holders are installed - pipes with shelves, hooks and etc. Electric appliances are permanently connected to the power supply, while the electrical wiring is pulled inside hollow tubes of holders, and they begin work with a potter's wheel.

With the help of recesses and water supply devices, in particular, a mixer and a watering can on a flexible hose, they wash their hands, tools, the potter's wheel, the tabletop itself, draw water through, for example, overlapping drain holes and drain it and associated waste. Using vertical holders, get quick access to additional accessories and equipment, since everything can be located at hand and at the required level.

Thus, the set of essential features of the utility model allows to reduce the time and labor resources spent on work with the potter's wheel.
