Из уровня техники известен подобный реквизит, называемый партерным кольцом. Кольцо названо партерным, так как оно устанавливается на подиуме (платформе) с возможностью вращения вокруг вертикальной оси. Основные элементы партерного кольца: подиум, вращающаяся опора, кольцо. Трюки на нем исполняются в динамике и статике. Номер может сочетать в себе разные техники циркового искусства, акробатику, гимнастические элементы и эквилибристику, а также танцевальные движения.
