Изобретение относитс  к испытательной технике, а именно к приборам дл  измерени  твердости материалов. Прибор содержит подъемный винт 2, маховик 3 дл  подъема стола, ручной привод 4 нагруже- ни , шпиндель 6 с индентором, грузовую подвеску 8, рычажную систему 10, измеритель 13 глубины (датчик или стрелочный индикатор ) и корпус 14. В узле подъемного винта 2 дополнительно установлен массивный маховик 1, который выполнен с возможностью передачи момента сил на привод 4 нагружени . Кроме того, прибор дополнительно снабжен одноплечим рычагом 9, расположенным со стороны грузовой подвески 8. Один конец рычага 9 закреплен шарнирно в корпусе 14, а другой опираетс  на рычажную систему 10 и имеет зазор с упором, установленным в корпусе 14. В корпусе установлен также измеритель 13 глубины (датчик или стрелочный индикатор).
