The utility model relates to flexible small-sized high-frequency balanced cables of category 5e. The cable is designed for group cabling in structured cable networks in structures, weapons and military equipment and provides the transmission of digital and analog signals at frequencies up to 100 MHz when exposed to ambient temperatures up to 100 ° C.
(RU 148022 С1, 27.09.2006, прототип).A high-frequency symmetric cable is known from the prior art, including a core consisting of at least two pairs of twisted conductive conductors, each of which includes a metal conductor with insulation from a polyethylene composition, the cable including a screen made of laminated aluminum foil and a braid overlaid on it made of tinned copper wire, and a polyethylene terephthalate film winding was applied over the core, and the shielded core was enclosed in a shell of halogen-free polymer position. (RU 148022 C1, 09.27.2006, prototype).
In the known cable, the conductive conductors are made single-wire, which reduces the resistance of the cable to mechanical stress, for example multiple bends. In addition, the material used as insulation from the polyolefin composition does not have sufficient compressive, fracture and tensile strength, which can also lead to its destruction under repeated mechanical stresses. At the same time, individually shielded pairs of conductive conductors give the cable increased rigidity and significantly limit its bending radius, and with repeated mechanical influences, the known design is not reliable enough, which can lead to destruction of screens and loss of cable performance.
The technical problem is the exclusion of the above disadvantages identified in the analysis of the prototype.

A high-frequency symmetrical cable includes a core consisting of two or four pairs of twisted
For the manufacture of conductive conductors, copper wires with a diameter of 0.16 mm are used, which are twisted on a twisting machine with a total number of wires in one core of at least seven. Multi-wire conductors, in comparison with single-wire conductors used in the prototype, have increased resistance to multiple bends. Due to the increase in the mechanical characteristics of a multi-wire conductive core, a material for insulation is necessary, also with better resistance to mechanical stress than in the prototype. Accordingly, to increase the resistance to mechanical stresses of a multi-wire conductive core, together with the insulation applied to it, a block copolymer of propylene with ethylene, for example, grade 02015-302K-M, is used as the insulation material. The specified material has a higher impact strength, including at low temperatures, better elasticity, as well as increased long-term thermal stability, in comparison with the polymer composition used in the prototype. The insulation is applied by extrusion on extrusion lines. Insulated
12182.8.In relation to 3 samples of the claimed high-frequency balanced cable, tests were made for resistance to repeated bending in accordance with GOST 12182.8.
Samples with a length of at least 0.75 m were placed between two cylinders with a groove, the width of which is equal to the maximum value of the cable diameter, and the depth - to the cable radius and bent by an angle of ± 90 ° (one bend). In this case, the diameter of the cylinder along the groove was equal to 8 outer diameters of the cable. The duration of one bend was at least 1 s. A total of 15 multiple bends were made. After testing, the absence of breaks in conductive conductors, insulation damage, shields, contacts between conductive conductors and between conductive conductors and shields was checked. Moreover, violations of the integrity of structural elements, breaks in conductive conductors, screens, shells, as well as other mechanical damages were not found in any of the tested samples.
In similar tests with respect to three cable samples selected as a prototype, violations of the integrity of structural elements were found in each of the samples.
Thus, the claimed high-frequency balanced cable has a higher resistance to repeated mechanical stress.
