Abstract
The multiprocessor mobile Internet robot android belongs to robotics and is intended for teaching design, modeling and programming. Description
The utility model relates to robotics and is intended for teaching design, modeling and programming.
There is a US patent US 20160151909 A1 Christopher John Harduin et al., “Reconfigurable Robotic System”, describes a robotic designer who develops the learner’s fine motor skills due to the very large number of parts, but differs from the robot proposed by the author in that it has one microprocessor and a complete absence modularity, which does not allow to divide the training task into several subtasks. For example, the choice of using different microcontrollers with different architectures and different programming languages for the same task. Solving the problems of price-quality, performance, power consumption and other criteria when designing a node as an autonomous object, the ease of its diagnosis and debugging of both hardware and software are not considered in this constructor. Unification of aggregates, units and parts, ease of development of individual units, without changing the basic concept of the robot, is absent.
US patent US 6575802 B2 Mark X. YimSemuel B. et al., "Robotic toy modular system with a distributed program" is adopted as a prototype. In this patent, the modules and processors of a robotic system are considered from the point of view of a regular distributed computing system with homogeneous modules without structuring and organizing the Internet into a subnet and communicating between the modules and the Internet via a radio or light packet data channel. The design of the robot is presented in the form of the same type of links, and not in the form of an anthropomorphic mobile device, which is not unimportant for the learning process.
The author was faced with the task of creating an inexpensive, easy to manufacture by any schoolchild at home, device designed for teaching design, modeling and programming.
To solve the problem (achieving the above result), a design of a multiprocessor mobile android Internet robot was developed.
The basis of the robot’s design is a threaded rod, which serves as a kind of “spine” onto which the robot platform modules are strung, like stringing the rings of a child’s development pyramid onto a rod.
Platform modules in the form of boards made of acrylic or other sheet material are fixed with washers, bushings, nuts, wing nuts. Platform modules can be powered to move and perform operations by the robot (“arms and legs of the robot”) and have a robust sleeve for attaching the power module to the threaded rod. The platform modules are closed, strung on a threaded rod, housings ("body, robot head") and are fixed with bushings, washers, nuts and wing nuts.
A robot may have:
Sensor modules-platforms for collecting information and transmitting it via radio or light channels of packet data to microcontrollers for controlling or power modules-platforms or to the Internet to make a decision on controlling the robot.
Platform control modules for decision making on robot control.
