Microalloying of cast iron by copper, ferrovanadium FVd2, cobalt, silicomanganese Smn17N is carried out in an electric furnace at the end of smelting at a temperature of 1500-1520 ° C. and modification with silicocalcium SCZO, ferrocerium (TU 1243-75), ferroboron FB17, boron diborides, magnesium alloys - directly in the casting ladles.
Table 1 shows the chemical compositions of cast irons of experimental swimming trunks.
The chemical composition of cast iron is checked according to GOST 22536-0-77 GOST 22535, 13-177, and the residual nitrogen content, the degree of assimilation is determined by the method of quantitative differentiated chemical analysis of alloys developed at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Tests have shown that the inventive cast iron can be used for the manufacture of cast parts with increased strength, wear resistance and service life.
Service life is determined by the resistance of metal molds when casting copper-nickel alloys in them.
Table 2 shows the data on the mechanical and operational properties. The mechanical properties and thermal resistance are determined on standard samples, and the resistance to thermal shocks and wear resistance on samples cut from castings after heat treatment, including isothermal holding at 400-420 ° C.
