Abstract
(Л СUsage: wastewater treatment from fats, suspensions, soluble organic, nitrogen and phosphorus compounds in the wastewater of dairy and cheese plants. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: Wastewater containing fats, suspended solids, soluble organic nitrogen and phosphorus compounds is passed through a polyurethane loading, during which the composition of the runoff is adjusted according to the content of the main pollutants to the values necessary for the stable life of microorganisms. The adjusted runoff is fed to the first stage of biological treatment, where the dissolved organic compounds and nitrogen and phosphorus are removed from the treated water. To fix the biocenosis, a planar support is used at this stage. The effluent purified at the first stage is fed to the second biological treatment stage, at which the excess ammonium nitrogen is oxidized to nitrates using nitrifying bacteria fixed on a bulk carrier. 1 tab. Description
The invention relates to the treatment of wastewater from fats, suspended solids, dissolved organic compounds, nitrogen and phosphorus and can be used to treat wastewater from food industry enterprises, for example, dairy and cheese plants.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the economic efficiency of the method and the intensification of the cleaning process by providing stable conditions for the life of microorganisms.
The method is carried out as follows.
д. Wastewater from a cheese factory containing fats, suspended solids, soluble organic, nitrogen- and phosphorus-containing compounds is passed through an elastic polyurethane load, during which the composition of the runoff is adjusted according to the fat content, suspended matter and BOD to the values necessary for the stable life of microorganisms . состава стока до требуемых значений обеспечиваетс за счет изменени , варьировани значений - плотности загрузки.the composition of the runoff to the required values is ensured by changing, varying the values — loading density.
The adjusted runoff is fed to the first stage of biological treatment, at which the dissolved organic compounds are removed from the treated water. To fix the biocenosis, a planar support is used at this stage. Purified from organic matter, the effluent is fed to the second stage of biological treatment, at which the oxidation of ammonium nitrogen to nitrites and nitrates occurs using nitrifying bacteria fixed on a bulk carrier.
Example. Three laboratory facilities were used to implement the claimed method and compare it with the prototype. Wastewater from the Kharkov cheese plant containing 900 mg / l of suspended solids, 750 mg / l of fat contaminants, 40 mg / l of ammonium nitrogen, 20 mg / l of phosphorus, having a BOD of 4000 mg / l, was averaged to pH 6.5-8 and served in a volume of 10 l for each of the installations.
Wastewater was purified at the plants according to the claimed method: first, they were passed through a polyurethane foam charge (density was 50 kg / m3) for 12 minutes, then they were subjected to biological two-stage purification using the charge aeration tank model.
В 1-й установке были использованы: на первой стадии - плоскостна загрузка, на 2-й стадии - объемна .In the 1st installation, the following were used: in the first stage - flat loading, in the 2nd stage - volumetric.
In the 2nd installation, planar charges were used in both biological treatment stages.
In the 3rd installation, volumetric charges were used in both biological treatment stages.
