It can be used in x-ray spectroscopy and spectroscopy of high-energy particles, in laboratory practice in the study of isotope decay, and in astrophysics.
The aim of the invention is to increase the sensitivity of cryogenic microcalorimeters, and thereby improve the resolution of X-ray spectrometers using them.

The temperature dependence of the resistance of the sample is described with an activation energy of conductivity E8 of 2.07-10 4 eV, which allows one to obtain a temperature coefficient of resistance at temperatures of 0.3 ... 0.1 K from 27 to 240, which is significantly greater than in ( 2), where a reaches 10 K 1. Due to this, the power, equivalent to the noise of cryogenic micro-calometers, will decrease, and the resolution of X-ray spectrometers using them will increase 2.5-5 times.
