The device comprises: a time counter, a mechanical start sensor, a mechanical finish sensor, a storage unit for the results of control, a unit for outputting the results of the control.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the lack of a number of functionalities that reduce the effectiveness of monitoring the implementation of exercises for speed, namely:

 the lack of the ability to automatically fix the start of the start and finish of the controlled person. In the known device, the fixation of the beginning of the exercise (start) and the end of the execution (finish) is carried out by mechanical action (pressing) of the controlling person on the sensor "start" / "stop" of the device. As a result, the result of the exercise reflects not only the time to overcome the controlled segment, but also the subjective parameters of the inspector (reaction time when fixing the start and finish) and the verifier (reaction time at the start). As a result, the objectivity of the control result is reduced;

 there is no possibility of automatically issuing the final control result, taking into account the compliance of the exercise time and the standards adopted in the organization, expressed in points. This reduces the efficiency and reliability of obtaining the final control result.

In mechanical mode, the “start” and “stop” signal is fed to the input of the time counter (3) by mechanical testing of the sensor (6), (9).
