Description
The invention relates to parts of insulating breathing apparatus intended to protect the respiratory organs of people from the harmful effects of the environment, used in mining operations, as well as in chemical and other industries.

Figure 1 presents a General view of the cartridge; in Fig.2 is a top view of the cartridge.
2.The cartridge contains an oval-shaped housing 1, hermetically connected to the upper 2 and lower 3 covers, on which are input A and output 5 pipes. Tubular elements 6 are placed inside the cartridge, made with perforated sections 7 of the side surface and a damped hemispherical end, which is located in the holes of the transverse mesh 8. Between the tubes there are channels for the passage of air 9. Elements 6 are located so that the perforated and non-perforated sections of adjacent the elements are placed in a checkerboard pattern, and the space between the walls of the housing 1 and zementeni b is filled with an absorber 10, From above, the absorber and tubular elements with the absorber are closed by a transverse grid 11 and hermetically sealed cover 2.
When storing the cartridge, nozzles 4 and 5 are closed with plugs.
.. Regenerative cartridge works as follows. ..
The regenerated air through the inlet 4 enters the housing 1, then into the tubular elements 6, washing the granules of the absorber, reacts with it. In this case, carbon dioxide is absorbed, which is contained in the exhaled air. Then, the regenerated air through the nozzle 5 is inhaled. Moreover, part of the air flow passes through the channels between the tubular elements.
The design of the cartridge allows to simplify the technology of equipping the cartridge, reduces the time of its equipping and residence, the product in the air, which leads to an increase in its absorption capacity.

For equipment, the cartridge is mounted on a vibrating stand and at the same time it is filled with an absorber in one step. Since the size of the granules is larger than the size between the tubular elements, the channels for air passage remain free.
The cartridge is simultaneously equipped, in which the entire tube cassette is located, and not the remaining inserts, the bottoms and covers are installed in them and then installed one above the other with subsequent separation by grids, as in the prototype.
The manufacture of tubular elements with hemispherical plugged ends allows them to be loaded at the absorber manufacturer. Placing them in the holes of the mesh allows you to have a ready-made set of element cartridges either for equipment in the cartridge or already equipped at the factory, which allows you to automate the process of loading the cartridge and thereby increase labor productivity in the manufacture and equipment of the cartridge.
The location of the perforated sections of the lateral surface of the elements in a checkerboard pattern prevents the product from sticking together as a result of the swelling and blocking of the channels, and thus prevents an increase in flow resistance.
