The coarse feed feeder contains runners (pipes) 1 horizontally located at a distance of at least 2 m, from which supports (poles) 2, forming feed sections 3 and manholes, extend upward in a V-shape with an interval of 18 ± 2 cm 4 for animals. The supports 2 in the upper part are attached to horizontally arranged pipes (poles) 5 that run parallel to the runner 1, To the pipes 5 are mounted in the vertical plane of the pipe (poles) 6, forming the skeleton of the roof 7. A loading hatch 8 is equipped on the roof 7. From the ends, the feeder is fenced with a net 9, and a door 10 is made in the lower part of the feed sections 3. In the feed sections 3, the upper part of the runners 1 forms a convex bottom 11. In parallel, the runners 1 to the inclined supports 2 outside the feed section 3 at a height equal to the upper part bottom 11, the lower supporting beam (pipe) 12 is attached, and in An upper support beam (pipe) is fastened 25-30 cm above it. 13. In the case of loading the feeder with fine-stalked feed on both sides of the convex bottom 11c of the inner side of the feed sections 3, a fence 14 is placed flush with the lower support beam 12 (FIGS. 2 and 3) and a net 15 or sheets of plywood (iron, fiberboard, etc.) are fastened above the upper support beam 13. 16. A hitch 17 is attached to the edges of the runners 1. Animals 18-23 are shown in Fig. 3 at different stages of activity. скрепл ют друг с другом в нескольких местах поперек кормовых секций металлическими ст жками 25, через которые легко перепрыгивают животные.fasten to each other in several places across the feed sections with metal ties 25, through which animals easily jump.
The device operates as follows.
Feed 24 is fed through a hatch 8 using a stack thrower. In order to distribute it evenly over the feed sections 3, workers come in through door 10 and spread the feed with forks (Fig. 1). After the feed shrinks, after 2-3 weeks the feeder can be reloaded. In the case of loading a small-stalked feed, the manholes 4 between the supports 2 are closed with a dense material 14 - 16, leaving only space between the lower 12 and the upper 13 supporting bars, where the animal's head freely penetrates (Fig. 2). The distance of 18 ± 2 cm corresponds to
среднестатистической ширине морды овцы,the average width of the muzzle of a sheep,
After loading the feeder, it is ready for operation. The animal 22, the approach to the feeder, freely takes the food sticking out between the supports 2 (Fig.Z). As it is eaten, it pokes its head deeper between the supports 2 into the formed hole 4. When the food is eaten there, the sheep 19 can crawl under the lower support beam 12 or stand on it (sheep 22) and get the food in the upper part of the feed section 3. Physically - the more developed animals 20 stand on the upper support beam 13 and eat food located even higher, which stimulates less physically developed animals. Fresh food is lowered from above from the bottom of the feed 24, thereby ensuring its consistency in the feed sections 3. Inedible and coarse feed residues, due to the convexity of the bottom 11, are poured onto the ground between the feed sections 3 and serve as bedding material on which the animals 18 can relax. The feeder due to the shelters for animals available in it can be successfully used during the spring group
To this end, a production group of animals of 100-150 sheep, formed from winter by the size of the front of feeding, with the established hierarchical structure of the herd, is left under the feeder for the entire nesting period, while closing one of the ends with straw bales. There are no better microclimate for stubborn sheep 23 and opts than dry, fresh air coming from the open end, warm walls of the feed sections and deep litter from feed residues. When seeding around and between the feed sections, it is transported using a hitch 17 and a powerful mechanical means- (K-750,

д.) Длину кормушки выбирают произвольно, сообразу сь с материальными возможност ми хоз йства и выбранной технологией в овцеводстве .DT-150, etc.) to another place, having previously driven the animals away, and the remains of feed and feces from the former location of the feeder with the help of forager FN-1.4 are scattered across the steppe for a considerable distance, which serves as organic top dressing and does not violate ecological balance in nature. It is known that the most well-known place in the microclimate for sheep is increased humidity. Wet wool is a good conductor of heat, so sheep who are exposed to rain more often than other types of animals are exposed to colds and, conversely, if the coat is dry, the sheep are not afraid of frost. The design of our device allows the sheep to keep their coat dry under any weather conditions, while being outdoors. It was found by observations that sheep practically do not eat food that has fallen from the feeder under the legs of the animal, they, endowed with the instinct of constantly searching for fresh food, do not pay attention to food that fell out of the feeder or from a large bundle pulled out by the animal, but not placed in the mouth cavities, which always happens when the food is distributed in conventional feeders, as it is loose and trapped by the sheep in a large volume, and in the process of chewing everything that does not fit in the oral cavity falls to the floor and is trampled. In our design, the feed is compacted under its tin and the sheep pull it out, with an effort, in such an amount that it is able to chew. Thus, the feed is used more efficiently. It is known that in the southern regions of the country, summer heat is a scourge for sheep breeding and, in order to somehow protect animals from it, shadow canopies are built. The design of our feeder allows us to fulfill the role of shadow canopies not only when there is no feed in it, but also in a loaded state. For this purpose, it is necessary to close the manholes 4 with dense material (boards, plywood, sheet of metal) to such a height that animal feed they didn’t reach (1-1.3 m) (Fig. 2). In addition, during the summer period it can be fed with concentrated feed. To do this, the distance between the feed sections 3 of both ends is blocked by shields, loopholes built in them for bruising, and inside the feeder, between the sections 3, tritters (troughs) with feeding are arranged. Adult sheep do not penetrate the top dressing and are satisfied with the shadow formed along the edges of the feeder, and the reed both with top dressing and in the shade. The length of the feeder is chosen arbitrarily, in accordance with the material capabilities of the economy and the selected technology in sheep breeding.
