Description
A useful model for treating wounds relates to medical equipment, namely, devices designed to treat purulent and necrotic wounds.
[6].Purulent wounds are formed in various pathological conditions: injuries, burns, frostbite, open skull injuries and other diseases, especially with concomitant pathology [6].
[4, 5]To date, surgical infections of the skin and soft tissues (ICMT) remain the area of surgery, which is paid little attention by specialists of both the outpatient and inpatient units. The significance of the problem is emphasized by the fact that in the structure of primary referral to a general surgeon, their frequency reaches 70%. In the structure of nosocomial infections, the frequency of surgical infections of soft tissues (postoperative suppuration, post-injection complications, etc.) reaches 36%, in Russia - 24%. Infections of the skin and soft tissues are the most common reason for patients seeking surgical care: for example, in the UK they make up 10% of hospital admissions, and in the United States, ICMT cause 330,000 hospital admissions per year. According to expert estimates, this pathology is observed in approximately 700 thousand patients annually in the Russian Federation. The importance of this problem may be evidenced by the fact that mortality in diseases such as necrotic infections reaches 50 percent or more [4, 5]
The level of technology. One of the new methods used in the treatment of purulent wounds is the local long-term use of reduced pressure (technical vacuum or subatmospheric pressure), which is created and maintained by a vacuum system.
The analogue of the British production of SMITH AND NEFU PLC Company “device and method for treating wounds with negative pressure” (patent RU 2582866 from 12/22/2010) is a sealed coating material, a piping system for applying reduced pressure and for the outflow of exudate, as well as an electronic unit for applying reduced pressure. The disadvantage of this device is its high cost, expensive repairs and consumables, volatility, mainly stationary use.
There is a "device for aspirating liquids and / or particles from the openings of the body" (patent No.RU 2581494 dated 02.20.17) of the German company MAKVET GMBH UND KO, which consists of a suction channel and a reduced pressure application unit. The disadvantage of this device is the narrow focus for draining only wound openings in the human body and the inability to treat extensive wounds, in addition, the possibility of only stationary use.
For the prototype, the authors took the device of the British company SMITH AND NEFU PELSi "wound dressing" (patent number RU 2560973 from 04/21/2011). This dressing consists of directly sealed coating material, a piping system and an electronic unit for applying reduced pressure. A significant drawback of this device is the lack of a reservoir for collecting drainage contents, as a result, the exudation is evacuated directly into the spongy material of the coating material, which contributes to infection and contamination of the wound. In addition, the use of a spongy substance as a covering material for a wound will lead to an increase in the frequency of dressings, as well as energy dependence and stationary use.

Implementation of a utility model.
The application of a vacuum dressing is as follows. Before applying the vacuum dressing, the wound (6) is thoroughly washed and dried, a sterile napkin (7) is laid strictly on the wound surface, pressed tightly to its bottom. Further, the drainage tube (5) is drawn through the thickness of the prepared sterile wipe.
Surgical sterile film (8) for isolating the surgical field sequentially, as it adheres to the skin, it is released from the protective layer. The film is hermetically applied to the skin around the wound. Further, by acting on the mechanical unit to create a reduced pressure (1), an optimal pressure is created under a sealed dressing. Air in the wound is pumped out and sent to the external environment by means of a check valve (2). The necessary pressure in the wound is created only after complete spontaneous compression of the drainage elastic sterile chamber (4). A vacuum of 75 mmHg is created. To disconnect the mechanical unit (1), the valve (3) is closed. Additionally, the bandage is fixed with a gauze bandage. If necessary, the connection of a mechanical unit (1) is allowed. All of these components make up a single functioning system, the single purpose of which is the treatment of wounds.
