Description
The utility model relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for audiometric studies.
The urgency of the problem is justified by the fact that the incidence of hearing loss has a tendency to increase, and specialized diagnostic audiometric studies are possible only on the basis of health facilities of the regional and city levels, equipped with expensive stationary equipment for hearing assessment. This leads to the fact that for a significant part of the rural population, qualified medical care, including conducting screening audiometric studies, is in most cases unavailable due to the territorial distance from district centers.
A known audiometer for monitoring hearing [RF Patent No. 20088800, IPC AB 5/12, 1994]. The invention relates to automatic monitoring of the functional state of the hearing organs of people and can be used in the examination of a significant number of persons. According to the number of patients examined, the sequences are formed from test sound signals of a given duration, amplitude and frequency, the impact of the received signals on the hearing of patients and the analysis of the attitude of patients to the acting test sound signal by the presence or absence of the corresponding reaction on their part. The disadvantages of this device are the large overall dimensions and dependence on the electric network, so it is difficult to create a portable device based on it that satisfies a wide range of medical needs.
Closest to the proposed device is a portable device for automatically conducting audiometric studies, comprising a block for generating audio signals, an attenuator, a wired and wireless communication module with digital output devices. The disadvantages of this device are the need for its mandatory connection and configuration to obtain the results of the study to digital output devices, as well as the significant overall dimensions of the headphones worn on the patient [Patent US 7464595, CPC Class A61B5 / 121, 2008].
This device is taken as a prototype.
The objective and technical result of the proposed utility model is to improve the overall dimensions of the patient-worn part of the device for determining hearing thresholds, portability, autonomy from external digital output devices and power supply networks.
