На суппорте установлен патрон 5 с деталью 6, На шатуне 7, установленном с возможностью поворота вокруг оси,закрепленной на кронштейне 3, и шарнирно соединенном с пол- зуном,установлен держатель инструмента 8. В процессе обработки шатун 7 с инструментом поворачиваетс  относительно оси О, что обеспечивает продольное перемещение суппорта 4 с деталью 6.
