The goal is to increase accuracy and reduce the laboriousness of measuring the wear of the piston rings of a two-stroke low-speed engine by providing a measurement without disassembling the engine. Before assembling the engine, wells are uniformly deposited on the working surface of the piston ring along its perimeter, and during operation of the engine, when the engine is stopped, the wear of the ring is measured. Wells are applied in groups with the same number of holes in each group and with different depths of adjacent holes. Wear is measured by observing the number of remaining holes through the purge and exhaust ports in the cylinder bushing. 2 silt
Description
The invention relates to measuring technique and can be used to assess the technical condition of the engine and, in particular, when measuring the wear of piston rings.
Known methods for measuring the wear of piston rings associated with disassembling the engine are: first, wear is measured by measuring the clearances in the ring locks inserted in the upper part of the cylinder bushing; the second - weighing the rings on the scales as they wear out; the third - by applying holes to the most wearing part of the ring in contact with the cylinder bushing.
The disadvantage of all three methods & is their high complexity associated with; the need to disassemble the engine and recess the rings to measure their wear by any of these methods.
The accuracy of the first method is very low. Since the measurement of the gap in the lock is made with a caliper with an accuracy of 01 mm. The other two are more accurate, but ring weighing is not used in practice, and it is carried out on special scales during research work.
The hole method requires special devices for cutting and measuring holes. Among the well methods for measuring wear of rings, the following two are known:
4 XS О 004 XS O 00
Ч H
Дл полной оценки износа кольца конические лунки нанос тс в нескольких местах равномерно по периметру кольца.one of which consists in cutting a hole in the middle part of the working surface of the ring with a thin disk mill and then measuring its length as the ring wears during subsequent disassemblies of the engine; the second, adopted as a prototype, consists in drilling on the working surface of the ring two conical holes located one above the other in the direction of the piston stroke (Fig. 1). The measurement base is taken as points W and B2. Before using the ring with a special device, the size of AI is measured. and after the test is completed, size A2 is measured. The difference between them Ai-A2 A characterizes the wear of the ring A, which can also be obtained by taking casts from the wells at both stages. Here, two wells are necessary for a basic setup, a meter without tilt or skew. In order to fully assess the wear of the ring, conical wells are applied at several places evenly around the circumference of the ring.
However, this method, in addition to the necessity of disassembling the engine and the high complexity of disassembling, also has the following disadvantages: the conical wells are clogged with carbon when the engine is running, and to ensure the correct use of the base points Bi and B2, as well as for the accuracy of the measurement process, they must be thoroughly cleaned. when cleaning, there are no guarantees against violation of these databases; the presence of two holes on the working surface of the ring along the flow of leaking hot gases weakens the reliability of the ring, creates the preconditions for it to burn in this place and can reduce its life, especially since the holes are applied uniformly around the entire perimeter of the ring, with the number of pairs wear control.
The probability of determining the objective value of the average wear of the ring around the perimeter increases with the number of pairs of deposited holes, but, as already indicated, their number reduces the life of the ring.
Measurement of wear on the dimensions of AI and A2 or the removal of casts from a hole is a rather laborious process, and the use of casts is clearly detrimental to the accuracy of measurements,
Целью изобретени вл етс снижение трудоемкости при одновременном повышении и обеспечении высокой точности процесса измерени износа поршневых колец двигател внутреннего сгорани .The aim of the invention is to reduce the complexity while increasing and ensuring high accuracy of the process of measuring the wear of the piston rings of an internal combustion engine.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in the known method of measuring the amount of wear of the piston rings, which consists in
в том, что перед сборкой двигател на рабочей поверхности поршневого кольца равномерно по его периметру нанос т лунки и в процессе эксплуатации двигател во врем in that before assembling the engine on the working surface of the piston ring, holes are laid evenly around its perimeter and during operation of the engine during
At its 5th stop, the wear of the ring is measured by the wells, the deposition of the holes is carried out in groups with the same number of holes in each group and the different depths of the neighboring holes, and the wear is measured by observing the number of remaining holes through the purge and outlet windows in the cylinder bushing.
2).The method is carried out as follows (Fig. 2).
Along the perimeter of the ring 1 in four places of its working surface with the core, holes 2 of various depths are applied. Wells are filled with a special core at a distance
0 between each other 5 mm. The difference between the depths of adjacent wells should be the same, amounting to between 0.2 and 0.3 mm. So, for example, for low-speed diesel engines with a cylinder diameter of
3,05 500 to 800 mm with 10 holes in one group, the first well can be received with a depth of 3 mm. Given that the maximum wear of the ring at an average wear rate of 0.15 mm / 103 g should be approximately 3.0
Measurement of ring wear is done by visually observing the number of holes remaining during engine operation 1 and ring wear. Wells are monitored while the engine is stopped through the purge and exhaust ports in the cylinder bushing. For slow-speed loop-purged engines, monitoring is done through
