Длина части трубочки со свечкой, вводимой в кишку, 9 см (см. фиг. 1 и 2). Как видно на фиг. 2, сама трубочка 1 по наружному диаметру гораздо шире, чем поршень. Это происходит от того, что свечка имеет переменную толщину - на заостренном переднем конце толще, чем на зауженном заднем, которым вставляется в ложе. Это сделано для того, чтобы при установке в кишку свеча не перегибалась, а свободно проходила далее. Чтобы задний конец свечки не выпадал из отверстия трубочки, его сделали зауженным.
