PACKAGING FOR CHOCOLATE PRODUCTS

This utility model relates to packaging for round chocolate products, in particular chocolate medals.

Known packaging for food products in the form of tiles, in particular chocolate, according to patent No. 2520009 [1].

The package (1) is made with a rectangular base (2) connected to the lid, with two side elements (3) located on opposite sides of the rectangular base (2), separated from the base by fold lines and bent inward along fold lines. Each of the first and second elements (4.1, 4.2) of the cover is located on one of two different opposite sides of the rectangular base, is separated from the last by fold lines, in the folded state they are partially overlapped by two side elements. The first cap element (4.1) has a perforation (6) with a V-shape, by which the valve can be separated from the fixing region (9). The fixing area (9) is intended for quick connection in a rolled-up state to the second opposite cover element (4.2) by means of adhesive connecting points. The second lid element has an opening into which a valve tongue (8) can be inserted to re-close the package.

The known packaging provides a certain mechanical strength, protects the product both during transportation and after opening, however, it does not provide reliable safety of the product during storage, transportation, demonstration, because the packaging is single, consisting of a single layer of packaging material, has no windows for visual inspection of the safety of the product.

In addition, the known packaging is intended for packaging one chocolate product in the form of a tile, and is not intended for the preservation of a group of chocolate products - chocolate medals that can be destroyed during transportation.

Chocolate medals, which are quite fragile products, are usually used in packaging as a gift for various holidays, as corporate gifts, as souvenirs, etc. At the same time, increased packaging requirements are imposed.

In the process of transporting chocolate medals in a flat cardboard package, it may be in a position on the edge, in this position chocolate products of a round shape (chocolate medals), stacked and packed in one layer, under their own weight can be rolled to one of the walls, etc. . As a result, a chocolate product may lose marketability and quality. Known packaging [2] has the same disadvantages as packaging [1], i.e. does not provide reliable product safety during storage, transportation, demonstration, as the packaging is single, consisting of a single layer of packaging material, has no windows for visual inspection of the safety of the product.

Known box packaging according to the patent for utility model No. 136022 [3]. Known packaging consists of a case and a pencil case, each of which is made of a single sheet. The case is made in the form of a horizontally elongated parallelepiped with a hole on the front side and a pencil case in the form of a horizontally elongated parallelepiped with a slot on the upper side. The case contains sashes from the inner front side, pressed against the side walls, and the pencil case contains from the front of the locking tabs on the upper and lower sides. In the pencil case, the lodgement is made in the form of an arch and with an arrangement in the middle. The known packaging [3] is not intended for the packaging of several chocolate medals, it does not have cutout windows for viewing.

Known packaging for chocolate products according to the patent for utility model No. 158268 [4], providing strength and visual control of the position of the product.

The well-known packaging for chocolate products [4] consists of a removable parallelepiped-shaped lid with a punch window, and a rectangular base. The longitudinal and lateral elements of the rectangular base in a folded state form the bulk walls of the U-shaped profile, limiting the cavity for placing the product. The longitudinal and side walls are interconnected by a system of valves, tongues and slots. The base on the inside is equipped with an insert covering the bottom of the base and made with at least one fold to separate the products.

However, this package does not provide sufficient rigidity in connection with the implementation of a removable cover with open sides, as well as the absence of a dividing side with stiffeners at the liner, which reduces the reliability of the packaging for chocolate medals.

In terms of the essential features, the closest to the claimed one is the technical solution for packaging for chocolate products according to the utility model patent No. 158268 [4], which is accepted as the closest analogue.

EFFECT: increased reliability of packaging of chocolate products such as chocolate medals during storage and transportation due to the implementation of a case with lockable sides that prevent packaging deformation, made with locking elements in the form of tongues, slots on the folds and notches perpendicular to them, providing mutual fixation of the side and longitudinal the walls.

Implementation of a utility model.

The inventive packaging for chocolate products of a round shape, such as chocolate medals, is a three-dimensional structure assembled from flat blanks (Fig. 11) containing a case 1 and a pencil case 2.

In FIG. 1a, b shows a scan of the package, which is made by cutting blanks 1, 2 from a sheet of cardboard on a stamp.

Pencil case 2 (Fig. 1b; Fig. 15, 16) contains longitudinal 4 and side 5 elements, separated from the bottom 6, respectively, longitudinal 7.1 and side 7.2 fold lines (Fig. 2A). The lateral elements 5 of the pencil case are made with folds 8, and contain valves 9 at the free ends (Fig. 2b).

In the folded state, the side elements 5 form the side walls 10 of the U-shaped profile with bent valves 9 laid on the bottom 6 of the canister (Fig. 3, 4a, 4b). Valves 9 are fixed to the bottom 6 through an adhesive connection. The longitudinal elements 4 are made with a single fold along the longitudinal lines 7.1 with the formation of longitudinal walls 11 (Figs. 2a, 3, 4a), which close to the side walls when putting on the case 1 (Fig. 16). It turned out that this embodiment of the longitudinal walls 11 does not reduce the strength of the package, but reduces the material consumption, as well as the complexity of the assembly package.

The removable packaging case 1 (Fig. 15, 16) is made of a single blanking blank (Fig. 1a). The case 1 (Fig. 5a) contains an upper wall 13 with curly die-cutting windows 14 for visual monitoring of the state of the packaged product, a lower wall 15, as well as side 17.1 and longitudinal walls 16.1, 16.2 (Fig. 5b), separated from the upper 13 and lower 14 walls with fold lines 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 18.4. One of the longitudinal walls 16.1 is connected to the bottom wall 15, and the other longitudinal wall 16.2 is connected to the longitudinal valve 19, intended for mounting on the bottom wall 15.

The longitudinal walls 16.1, 16.2 on both end faces are provided with folding tongues 20, separated from the side elements 17 by cut lines 21 (Fig. 5b, Fig. 6). The tongue 20 can be bent along the line 26 in the process of connecting the lateral 17.1 and longitudinal 16 walls when closing the package (Fig. 8).

To increase the strength of the pencil case, the case is equipped with closing side elements 17 (Fig. 5a) pivotally connected to the upper 13 wall with fold lines 18.5, 18.6 (Fig. 5b, Fig. 6).

The lateral elements 17 contain walls 17.1 and valves 22 connected by a fold 23 and can be bent to close the open sides of the package (Fig. 5b, 6, 8, 9). At the ends of the fold 23 there are slots 24 that coincide with the edge of the tongue 20 of the longitudinal walls 16.1, 16.2. The slots 24 form sections 25 of the side walls (Fig. 6, 8, 9). The tongues 20 are made with the possibility of entry when folding the walls in the slot 24, under the sections 25 of the side wall 17.1, for mutual fixation of the longitudinal walls 17.1 and side walls 16.1 or 16.2 of the case (Fig. 8).

In the assembled package, the tabs 20 through the slots 24 are laid under the upper part 25 of the side wall 17.1 (Fig. 8).

When assembling the case, the tongue 20 is pushed through the slot 24, and the portion 25 of the side wall 17.1 (Fig. 8) is forcibly lifted so that the tongue 20 passes into the slot 24. In this case, as a result of the applied force, bearing in mind that the longitudinal valve 19 is glued to the bottom wall 15, wall rupture or collapse of the tongue may occur, which makes the structure unreliable in this area. To avoid violation of the strength of the package sections 25 are provided with notches 27, perpendicular to the slots 24 (Fig. 5, 6, 9). As a result of the applied force when the tongue 20 is pushed through the slot 24, the notch 27 expands without causing wall tension, and when the tongue is inserted, the cuts and slots are closed. In this case, the tongue 20 goes under the upper part 25 of the side wall 17.1, forming a connection between the side and longitudinal walls, and the second layer under the section 25 of the side wall, reinforcing the junction of the walls. Thus, the mutual fixation of the walls 17.1 and 16.1, 16.2, which does not lead to deformation of the package, strengthens the structure, increases its reliability (Fig. 8).

Cutting windows 14, corresponding to the number of packaged products, are made mainly of round shape (Fig. 16). However, depending on the shape of the packaged chocolate product, there may be other shapes, for example, oval, rectangular and other curly shapes. Windows 14 may be covered with transparent material inserts.

For ease of opening the package, the bottom wall is provided with a recess 29 (Fig. 5a, 5b, 9).

To strengthen the design, the pencil case 2 inside is equipped with a rectangular insert 3 (Fig. 10). The liner 3 closes the bottom 6 of the pencil case and glued valves 9 of the side elements and increases the thickness of the bottom 6, which strengthens the packaging.

The insert 3 is made of a single blanking with a dividing flange 12, separating individual cells 38 for placement in each one product when packing chocolate medals (Fig. 10).

Assembly packaging.

Scan packaging (Fig. 1A, b, c) is performed by cutting blanks from a sheet of cardboard with a density of 225-240 g / m ² on a stamp. The assembly of the case 1, the pencil case 2 and the liner 3 is carried out by folding the corresponding flat blanks along the fold lines and fastening the individual parts of the structure with glue.

The lateral elements 5 of the pencil case are bent twice at an angle of 90 ° along the lines 7.2, 8 with the formation of voluminous U-shaped strong walls (Fig. 3, 4a, 4b). With a free valve 9, the side walls 10 are fixed to the bottom 6 of the case through an adhesive joint to obtain a stable structure. The longitudinal walls 11 are obtained by a single bend along the longitudinal lines 7.1 (Fig. 3).

Inside the canister 2, the preassembled insert 3 (FIG. 10) is laid on the bottom 6 with the short sides resting on the side walls 10 of the canister. The liner 3 also strengthens the bottom of the pencil case and closes the valves 9.

The liner 3 with the edge 12 provides convenient access to the chocolate product when it is consumed.

Case 1 with windows 14 (Fig. 1A) is performed by cutting out a sheet of cardboard on a stamp. The windows 14 are preferably circular in shape. Windows 14 can be closed by a transparent material insert with any strong connection; for a transparent insert, a PVC film with a thickness of 150 μm or more can be used, which provides the necessary strength of the case and its resistance to external influences.

The resulting preform is bent along the corresponding bend lines. The longitudinal valve 19 is connected with an adhesive joint to the lower part 15 to obtain a rectangular case 2 with lockable sides that increase the reliability of the package.

Chocolate medals are placed on the liner 3, each product is placed in a cell 28 formed by the side.

Chocolate medals before packaging can be enclosed in an individual metal foil case.

The case 1 of one of the sides is put on the pencil case 2 and moved along it until the cavity is completely covered by the case (Fig. 11). The longitudinal walls 11 of the canister are pressed against the case 1 and do not require additional fastening to the side walls 10, which does not affect the decrease in the strength of the package, but reduces the consumption of materials, as well as the complexity of the assembly package.

To close the package, the tongue 20 of the case is pushed through the slot 24 of the side element, while the portion 25 of the side wall 17 (Fig. 8) is forcibly lifted so that the tongue passes into the slot. As a result of the applied force, the incision 27 expands without causing wall tension, and when the tongue is inserted, the incisions and slots are closed. In this case, the tongue 20 goes under the upper part 25 of the side wall 17.1, forming a connection between the side and longitudinal walls, and the second layer under the section 25 of the side wall, reinforcing the junction of the walls. Thus, the mutual fixation of the walls 17.1 and 16.1, 16.2 is carried out, which does not lead to deformation of the package, strengthens the structure, increases its reliability.

Cutting windows 14 allow you to control the position and safety of products in the package (Fig. 11).

When using the product, the consumer views the contents of the package through windows 14. To open the package, raise the side element 17 of the case 1, the pencil case 2 is partially extended, opening the cell 28 of the pencil case 2 for access so that the chocolate medal can be completely removed from the package or re-placed. In this case, the longitudinal walls 11 of the pencil case are pressed by the case to the side walls 10 and retain the shape of the pencil case (Fig. 11).

To close the package, the pencil case is pushed into the case. The tongues 20 are inserted into the slots and the side element is folded inside the package. Products are safely stored in the packaging until their next use.

The inventive packaging for chocolate chocolate medals ensures the achievement of the claimed technical result, i.e. has increased reliability compared to the prototype [4] due to the implementation of the case with lockable sides, reinforcing the structure and preventing deformation of the package, made with locking elements in the form of tongues, slots on the folds and notches perpendicular to them, providing mutual fixation of the side and longitudinal walls.

The inventive packaging provides high reliability by protecting the product from mechanical stress, for example, during transportation or during the consumer’s handling of it, preventing breakage of the chocolate medal in the package. Thanks to the cut-out windows, visual inspection of the product in the package is ensured. In addition, the packaging continues to protect the chocolate medal even after opening, as it is possible to re-close the packaging, reliable against mechanical or atmospheric effects on the chocolate product.

Industrial applicability.

The inventive packaging for chocolate chocolate medals can be widely used in the manufacture of gift sets for the holidays, as souvenirs, etc.

For the production of the inventive packaging can be used various well-known and traditional technologies, materials commonly used in industry in the manufacture of containers and packaging from cardboard.
