Description

The utility model relates to a tool for economic, tourism, hunting or military purposes, used in conditions of solitary existence, namely, to the sheath for their storage.

These famous sheaths are simple in design.

The disadvantage of these known sheaths is the low technological quality of their manufacture due to the need to use manual labor, as well as the insecurity in use due to the use of soft material for their manufacture, and, moreover, these sheaths are not sufficiently functional due to the lack of elements for placing the saw in them close in size to the well-known hacksaw saws used for sawing large objects, such as, for example, trees, lumber, etc.

Sheaths are also known, containing an element oriented along the length of the sheath for mounting the blade of the knife and one element for fixing the sheath on the equipment (Utility Model Certificate No. 2212 of June 21, 1994)

These sheaths, in comparison with the analogue described above, are more technologically advanced in manufacture due to their stamping and, in addition, are safer to use due to their manufacture from an elastic material that prevents the knife blade from penetrating into it.

The disadvantage of these sheaths, which are closest in technical essence, is their low functional properties due to the lack of elements in them to accommodate a long saw, which makes it possible to cut large objects.

The closest in technical essence to the proposed technical solution are universal sheaths containing a stand with a side groove for the saw blade, with an element located in this groove for attaching the saw blade and bringing it into working position, as well as with at least one oriented along the length the scabbard with an element under the blade of the knife, shorter than the length of the side groove under the saw blade (Utility Model Patent No. 144593, priority of March 17, 2014, published on August 27, 2014).

These sheaths closest to the claimed utility model have enhanced functional properties due to the implementation of their coasters with a side groove under the saw blade, a length exceeding the length of the element under the blade of the knife, as well as increased safety and ergonomics provided by the strength of the stand and its versatility due to execution when using the role of a saw handle.

The disadvantage of these sheaths, which are the closest in technical essence, is the low-tech production of the stand with a side groove for the saw, which requires the use of a complex mold to form a side groove in it, or a separate operation to form a side groove in an integral stand, as well as the complexity of the installation in the side the groove of the saw fixing element in the closed and in working positions to increase safety in use.

The technical result from the use of the proposed utility model is to increase the manufacturability of the manufacture of the stand with a groove for the saw, as well as to increase the functional properties of the sheath due to the implementation of the stand, at least two separate parts bonded to each other with the formation between them, at least , one groove, for example under a saw blade or other tools.

This is achieved by the fact that in universal sheaths containing a stand with a groove for the saw blade, with an element located in this groove for attaching the saw blade and bringing it into working position, as well as with one element, at least oriented along the length of the sheath, under the blade of the knife shorter than the length of the groove under the saw blade, ... the stand is made of at least two separate parts fastened together to form at least one groove between them, for example, under the saw blade or other tools.

The implementation of the element under the blade of the knife in one piece with the stand or with one of its parts can improve the manufacturability of the manufacture of sheaths and increase their strength.

The additional supply of the sheath with an element for fixing them on the equipment contributes to the convenience of their use, and the implementation of this element in one piece with the stand or with one of its separate parts contributes to the manufacturability of the sheath.

An additional supply of scabbard with elements for placing other tools besides the knife and saw, for example, a metal cutter mounted on the end of the scabbard, allows expanding the functionality of the scabbard.

The choice of a durable material for the manufacture of the stand allows one to increase both the strength of the sheath itself and its service life.

Universal sheaths contain a stand 1 (Fig. 2, Fig. 3) of two separate equal in length parts 2 and 3, fastened together to form a groove 4 between them under the saw blade 5 (Fig. 1); located on the stand element under the blade of the knife 6 (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, Fig. 3), a length less than the length of the groove 4 under the saw blade 5 and fixed to part 2 of the stand 1; as well as other elements associated with the stand 1: an element for attaching the saw blade to the groove and bringing it into working position 7 (Figs. 1, 4, and 6); elements 8 for fastening together the separate parts 2 and 3 of the stand 1, as well as fixing an element on it under the blade of the knife 6 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3); an element for fixing the sheath on equipment 9 (Fig. 1), fixed to part 3 of the stand 1; element 10 for fixing the saw in the closed and in working positions (Fig. 6), located in the groove 4 (Fig. 5) of the stand 1.

Universal sheaths can be additionally equipped with elements for placing other tools in them, for example, a file 11 (Fig. 4), a flint (not shown) placed inside the sheath, and a metal cutter fixed at the end of the sheath12.

When performing the sheath with the additional part 13 of the stand 1 (Fig. 5), another tool is installed in the formed new groove between it and part 3 of the stand 1, for example, a saw of a different purpose 14 (Fig. 4).

Universal sheath is made as follows.

Pre-made element under the blade of the knife 6 (Fig. 1-5), and the individual parts 2 and 3 of the stand 1. Then the element under the blade of the knife 6 is placed on a separate part 2 of the stand 1 and fastened with it. On part 3 of the stand 1, an element 10 is laid for fixing the saw in the closed and in working positions (Fig. 6). After that, on a separate part 3 of the stand 1, a separate part 2 with an element 6 is installed and fixed with each other by elements 8 to form a groove 4 under the saw blade 5, into which the saw blade is placed and fastened to the groove 4 by element 7. If necessary, to one of the parts supports 1 attach additional parts with the formation of other grooves between them for placement of other tools in them, for example, saws for other purposes 14, piles, etc. (not shown), and also attach an element for fixing the sheath on the equipment 9.

The sheath is ready for the installation of tools in them.

Preparation of the sheath for work with the knife is not required, because just pull the knife out of the element under the blade of the knife 6 and it is ready for use.

To work with the saw, it is necessary to disconnect the sheath from the equipment, pull out the saw blade 5 from the groove 4 by turning it relative to the element for attaching the saw blade and bringing it into working position 7, while the strong stand 1 together with the element under the knife blade 6 will perform the function handles of a saw.

The proposed sheath universal with a combination of their essential features allows to increase the manufacturability of manufacturing their stands by making the stands out of separate parts fastened together to form different grooves between them for the saw blade and other additional tools, as well as elements for fixing them in a closed and in working positions.
