Сани приводят в рабочее положение. Малыша укладывают в сани для прогулки по заснеженной территории. В холодное время суток или при наличии ярких солнечных лучей голову малыша закрывают козырьком, предохраняя его от воздействия холодного ветра или попадания в глаза ярких солнечных лучей. Наличие декоративной отделки обрамления козырька мехом улучшает внешний вид саней и поднимает настроение не только ребенку, но и родителям, делая прогулку более комфортной и способствуя увеличению ее продолжительности. Посредством рукоятки 8 и колес 6 и 7 осуществляют подъем передней части саней для преодоления одиночных препятствий, подъема на небольшие возвышенности, а также поворота саней для движения в новом направлении. Кроме этого, обеспечивается возможность движения саней назад и их плавное качание для укачивания находящегося в санях ребенка.
