Abstract
Fan-shaped drainage, which is a tube for evacuating fluid from the wound cavity, characterized in that the tube consists of a main trunk and lateral branches extending from it at an angle of 45 °, with the barrel and side branches being perforated and made of silicone.
Description
The utility model relates to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery. The following types of drainages described in the works can be attributed to analogues:

CRITICISM OF ANALOGUES
With non-tight hernioplasty of large and giant hernias with synthetic materials, surgeons encounter some complications in the postoperative period. One of them is an accumulation of seromas with subsequent possible sequestration and infection. One of the preventive measures is adequate drainage of the residual cavity. Currently, several methods of drainage of postoperative wounds are known, the main of which are Ulmer drainage with the Unovac suction system, in some cases, seromas are evacuated by the puncture method. But even when using these methods does not give the desired result.
PROTOTYPE OF A USEFUL MODEL.
Д. Л. для дренирования остаточной полости отдают предпочтение дренажу Ulmer активной аспирационной системой Unovac фирмы Unomedical (Дания).As a prototype, we took the following device: A.D. Timoshin, A.V. Yurasov, A.L. Shestakov. for drainage of the residual cavity, Ulmer drainage is preferred by Unomedical's Unovical active suction system (Denmark).
CRITICISM OF THE PROTOTYPE. The use of the known device does not give the desired effect, since with large and giant hernias having an extensive wound surface, it is not possible to adequately drain all areas of the residual cavity where seromas can accumulate, followed by infection and suppuration.
PURPOSE OF A USEFUL MODEL.
The purpose of the utility model is to create a drainage device for adequate drainage of the residual cavity.
Utility Model Essence
The proposed fan drainage is illustrated in figure 1, where pos.a - the main trunk of the drainage, pos.b - lateral branches of the drainage, pos.d - holes.
Fan drainage is a flexible tube with a diameter of 3-5 mm. (Fig. 1, pos. a) made of silicone with perforated lateral branches of the same diameter. The number of lateral branches depends on the size of the residual cavity, the minimum number of branches is 2 on each side of the main drainage trunk. The branch angle is 45 degrees. The main tube and branches are perforated.
Features of utility model distinctive from prototype
The positive effect of using the utility model:
Provides effective drainage, creates adequate drainage of the residual cavity. The device makes it possible to separately evacuate the liquid from different parts of the residual cavity of the postoperative wound.
