Description

The utility model relates to games with balls such as billiards, namely to a table for playing with balls such as billiards, in which instead of hitting a ball with a cue, a ball is hit by a bullet fired from small arms at a certain distance from the table.

Known game of the billiard type, containing a table with a flat playing field, which is equipped with pockets, movable elements in the form of washers and means of striking the pucks in the form of a gun firing light bullets [patent RU7012U1, publ. July 16, 1998]. However, in this known game, the movement of the pucks across the field is prevented by the relatively high sliding friction force, therefore, the playing field and the pucks are provided with means for reducing their mutual friction, which complicates the structure and its maintenance.

As a prototype, a billiard-type bullet game was chosen, where balls are used as moving elements, as in ordinary billiards [patent RU88978U1, publ. 11/27/2009]. This game contains a table with a flat playing field, which is equipped with pockets, balls mounted on a flat playing field, and small arms, from which small bullets are fired at the balls to strike at the latter. In particular, the table used in this famous game has a semicircular playing field, which is bounded on the semicircular side by sides in the form of a panoramic reflector, and on the diametrical side by a ball trap. Pockets for balls evenly spaced on the semicircular side of the table. Through holes are made on the surface of the playing field for dropping bullets onto a pallet mounted under the playing field. Such a table has a relatively complex structure and allows you to play only one game, namely a game such as Russian billiards, where you need to score a certain number of balls in the pockets.

The technical problem for which a useful model is proposed is to simplify the design of the table used for bullet games such as billiards.

Another technical task to be solved is the creation of such a table for a bullet game such as billiards, which could allow you to play a game of billiard type that is different from Russian billiards, in particular a game of billiard type without using loopholes like a cannon.

To solve the technical problem, a table for a bullet game with balls like billiards is proposed, including a flat playing field, sides limiting the playing field and having a height that prevents the ball from rolling out of the playing field. What's new is that the table additionally contains an elongated partition that divides the playing field into two parts and has a height that prevents the ball from rolling over the elongated partition, while the elongated partition has a passage whose width allows the ball to pass from one part of the playing field to its other part.

This design of the table is simple and allows you to play a new kind of billiard game without using pockets, dropping balls from one part of the playing field into another part by bullets.

First example

As shown in figures 1 and 2, the table for a bullet game with balls such as billiards according to the first example includes a countertop 1 with a coating 2, forming a flat playing field of a semicircular shape, the far and near sides along the edges of the playing field such as a guard rail formed by the supporting posts 3 with the side rail 4 and the long rail 5, as well as two elongated partitions 6, forming a common V-shaped partition, dividing the playing field along into two equal parts.

Worktop 1 can be equipped with its own legs, and can also be installed on any other suitable table. Coating 2 can be made of any suitable material, in particular with a low coefficient of friction, for example, rubber.

The elongated partitions 6 are made in the form of metal strips, in particular of aluminum alloy, rigidly mounted on the coating 2. In this example, the height of the elongated partitions 6 is selected equal to the height H of the far side rail 5.

The proximal ends of the elongated partitions 6 are adjacent to the far side rail 5, and their distant ends connected together are located at some distance from the rail, forming a passage for a ball of width B. In general, width B should allow the ball to pass from one part of the playing field to its other part. The value of B should be slightly larger than the diameter of the ball, for example, by 10-30%.

The table according to the first example can be used for a game of billiard type without the use of pockets. For example, to cover 2 of each part of the playing field, an equal number of balls are set. Two players take turns firing small bullets from small arms, while at the turn for firing, at balls located on their part of the playing field, trying to move the balls to part of the playing field of another player through the passage of width B. The one on whose part of the playing field wins there will be no balls left.

The part of the playing field, limited by the elongated partitions 6, is designed to store accessories for the game.

Here, any suitable weapon can be used as a small weapon, for example, a small-caliber or air gun, a small-caliber or air rifle, etc. The balls used for playing hockey with a ball (cork ball covered with a plastic sheath), as well as tennis balls (a rubber hollow ball covered with felt), proved themselves well as balls.

Second example

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. the table for a bullet game with balls such as billiards in the second example has a structure that is similar to that described in the first example. Therefore, only the available design differences will be described below.

Here, the playing field formed by the countertop 1 with coating 2 has the shape of a quadrangle with a rounded far corner. There is one elongated partition 6, made rectilinear and dividing the playing field into two equal parts in a shape resembling rectangular triangles. The countertop 1 is configured to tilt the playing field at an acute angle of inclination α towards the end of the elongated partition 6 adjacent to the sideboard rail 4, i.e. towards the player. Such an inclination may be constant or may be carried out using adjustable legs (not shown) of the countertop 2.

The game using the table in the second example can be conducted as well as in the first example. It is also possible that the playing field is tilted at an acute angle α (for example, 2-8 °), in which the firing game for one ball is carried out by several shots in a row (two or three shots). In the latter case, the angle of inclination α is chosen so that the ball can rise from the side of the near side 4 to the passage of width B at the far side of the far side 5 when two or three bullets hit the ball in turn with small pauses.

The above examples were used only to illustrate the feasibility of the claimed utility model.
