Description
The proposed utility model relates to pumping units with a hydraulic drive and can be used in nuclear, thermal energy and other branches of technology where it is necessary to increase the pressure of water by using excess water energy.
As you know, the quality and technological equipment of hydro-coolers and technical water supply systems largely determine the power and efficiency of nuclear power plants. The effective operation of the technical water supply system of a power plant depends on the balanced parameters of turbine condensers, circulation pumps, coolers in various combinations with meteorological parameters of the power plant area.
There is a KGTN 850-400 hydraulic turbine pump, taken as a prototype, which is used to pump condensate from a high pressure heater (LDPE) and a steam trap of a heating steam of a superheater separator (SPP) to turbine condensers or deaerators. (Pak P.N., Belousov A.Ya., Pak S.P. “Pumping equipment of nuclear power plants” - M .: Energoatomizdat, 2003, 450 p .; ill., - pp. 175, 176). In a structural respect, KGTN 850-400 combines a pump and a hydraulic drive turbine in one housing. The pump part of the hydraulic turbo pump includes a centrifugal impeller, a water cutter and a straightening apparatus. The turbine part includes a radial-axial single-stage hydraulic turbine. As the working medium of the drive turbine, feed water is used, the discharge of which after the hydraulic turbo pump is carried out into the deaerator. The rotor of the hydraulic pump rotates in hydrostatic bearings lubricated with water lubricant. The sealing of the impellers of the pump and turbine is ensured by means of o-rings.
Owing to its design features, the KGTN 850-400 pump is used only for pumping condensate from LDPE and a steam trap for heating steam SPP into turbine condensers or deaerators. In addition, the disadvantage of this design of the pumping unit is the need to have two independent hydraulic machines (pump and drive hydraulic turbine) connected by a common shaft.
The proposed device solves the problem of expanding the functionality of the hydraulic turbopump.
To solve this problem, we propose a pump unit with a hydraulic turbine drive, characterized in that it has an outer casing, inside which there is a hydraulic turbine with an impeller mounted on a rotating casing of the impellers together with the impeller of the pump, which is a single unit with it and mounted on the sleeve, supported by bearings on the pump casing, control valve and pump discharge pipe. Since in the proposed utility model the hydraulic turbine impeller is a single unit with the pump impeller, stable operation of the pump is possible at Ng.> Nn., I.e. 9.81 Qg.Hg. × λg> 9.81 Qn.Hn./λn., Where: Qg., Ng., Λg - flow, pressure and efficiency of the turbine, respectively, and Qn., Nn., Λn - flow, pressure and pump efficiency, respectively (Hydropower installations / edited by D.S. Shchavelev. L.: Energoizdat, Leningrad branch, 1981). The pump is an independent hydraulic machine, which is part of a pumping unit with a hydraulic turbine drive. From this it is obvious that the pump during its rotation can supply water to any geometric height, depending on the given characteristics of the pump. With an increase in the power of the turbine and the corresponding opening of the control valve, the pump driven into rotation will pump water to a predetermined height. Therefore, the resulting moving flow of excess water can be supplied to a higher level than the hydraulic water level in front of the turbine. As a result of the practical application of the proposed device, the functionality of the pump with a hydraulic turbine drive expands due to the fact that when using the proposed device it is possible to provide water in places where water supply is not possible in the absence of a pump with an electric drive, for example, on discharge from turbine condensers to create additional cooling water coolers or for supplying water from water supply systems with excess hydraulic power to increase water pressure. A significant advantage of the proposed utility model is that the flow parts of the turbine and pump are constantly under excess water pressure, which excludes the cavitation mode of the flow parts of the hydraulic unit.
The device is illustrated by a diagram of a pumping unit with a hydraulic turbine drive.
7.The proposed utility model contains an outer casing 1, inside of which a hydraulic turbine with an impeller 10 is installed, which makes up a single unit with the impeller 5 of the pump. The impellers of the hydraulic turbine and the pump are fixed on the rotating casing 9 of the impellers, and the impeller of the pump is simultaneously mounted on the sleeve 7, which is supported by bearings 4 and 8 on the pump casing. The blade systems 6 and 11 are used to secure the pump inside the hydraulic turbine and to direct the flow of water in order to increase efficiency. The device comprises a drain pipe 2, a control valve 3, a pressure pipe of the pump 13. There is a pressure basin 12 and a discharge channel 14. The described pump unit with a hydraulic turbine drive operates as follows. Water from the pressure pool 12 with the valve 3 closed fills the entire system, including the hydraulic turbine and the pump, which are stationary. When the valve 3 is open, the moving flow drives the impeller 10 of the turbine and at the same time the impeller 5 of the pump, rigidly connected to each other by means of a rotating housing 9 and supported by bearings 4 and 8 through the sleeve 7.
Hydroturbine drives the pump. By changing the flow rate of water through the hydraulic turbine Qg, by adjusting the opening of valve 3, the required pump head is obtained, which allows water to be supplied through the pressure pipe 13 to the discharge channel 14 located above the pressure pool 12, and hence the hydraulic water level in front of the hydraulic turbine.
д.The device can be used at a discharge from turbine condensers to create additional cooling of water coolers, in technical water supply systems, in irrigation systems, etc.
