Abstract

Method to return the change ATM machines has for a novelty the phase (301) where the status of available banknotes are checked, phase (302) where maximum of possible amount of the payment is written, phase (304) where should be determined the maximum of banknote to pay and phase (310) in which should be selected the options of money return. Phase (301) checks the current state of banknotes in each cassette of unit (104) for the payment, check the history of previous payments over a defined period of time and the time of day when the payment is made. Based on the above three parameters checked in phase (301), it has been determined the mode of maximum or limited usage of ATM machine based on which in phase (302) the maximum possible amount for payment is determined and in phase (310) user can select the options of returning the change. The mode of maximum usage of ATM machine is defined by a time interval of 12 hours in which the parameters: the status of available banknotes in each cassette unit (104) for the payment, history of previous payments over a defined period of time and the time of day are changing rapidly and also the mode of limited usage of ATM machine is defined as time interval in which the mentioned parameters are changing slowly.
