Inventia se refera la un procedeu de preparare a 5-clor-4-fenil-1,3-diaxanului care consta în încalzirea clorstirenului (amestec de izomeri cistrans) cu exces de acid sulfuric si solutie de formol. Se pot obtine, în functie de conditii (concentratia acidului sulfuric, raport molar)+/- trans 5-clor-4-fenil-1,3-dioxan sau +/- cis -5-clor-4-fenil-1,3-dioxan, respectiv ambele forme, separabile în stare pura. Modul de operare este simplu si usor de reprodus în practica.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 5-chloro-4-phenyl-1,3-diaxane consisting of heating the chlorstirene (mixture of cistrans isomers) with excess sulfuric acid and formol solution. The trans-5-chloro-4-phenyl-1,3-dioxane or +/- cis -5-chloro-4-phenyl-1,3 -dioxane, both of which are separable in a pure state. The mode of operation is simple and easy to reproduce in practice.
